This is our third trip out on the Picnic Boat - this time to celebrate a 25th Wedding Anniversary with friends and family. Kevin and Rayne have made the boat look so pretty with it's lovely new awning, squishy cushions, Kath Kidston tablecloth, and a table set with a beautiful vase of flowers and champagne chilling in ice buckets. This... More

We had a brilliant trip on the Picnic Boat to celebrate our Silver Wedding with friends. Kevin and Rayne are the perfect hosts and the food (we had the seafood option) is second to none. The boat has been beautifully decorated and is warm and cosy, even in the not-so-perfect weather that we had. Make this a must if you... More

Four of us spent a lovely few hours on the Picnic Boat, pootling up the River Dart. The boat is beautifully furnished with a real Country Cottage feel - cosy cushions, blankets, pretty table cloth, fabric napkins & bunting strung around the perimeter. Kevin was a great host & the amazing platters of some of the best seafood we have... More

What a fantastic experience this is! We were a party of 12, nine adults and three children, and opted for the cream tea cruise which included crabbing for the children at Dittisham. It was our Ruby Wedding Anniversary and we wanted something different. Believe me this is it! It's absolutely wonderful, from the beautifully laid table, the soft cushions, the... More

I was part of a hen party and we booked for a lunch cruise. Food was delicious, with the vegetarians in our party brilliantly catered for, and our hosts were friendly, informative and helpful all the way through. They are clearly passionate about providing a great experience and it really shows. Cannot recommend highly enough.

We had the most fantastic "romantic cruise for two with seafood picnic" last Saturday celebrating my husband's birthday and our wedding anniversary. It may have been -2 outside but we were snug and warm under the canopy with the heater on. Kevin was the perfect host. The champagne and seafood lunch was sublime and the homemade bread and mackerel pâté... More

We stayed in Dartmouth as an extended family last October when the Food & Wine festival was on and as part of our visit took a trip on the picnic boat. We had a brilliant trip around the harbour and saw a dolphin which was fantastic. The sun was out but it was a little chilly being October but once... More

From our first phone call to being met by Rayne at the jetty in her smart branded polo shirt - I knew we were going to be looked after. We arranged the trip last minute and as we were staying in the Dart Marina, thought it would be a lovely treat for my father in law. The boat presentation was... More

From the start dealing with Kevin was a pleasure, he had responded to My e mail within two hours even though I mailed him at 6.30 am!!! It was really easy to book and he explained all our options. On the day we turned up about 10 mins before and there we saw the boat bobbing along the river towards... More

We booked this trip on the picnic boat to celebrate three very special birthdays. After a couple of hours sailing on the river, we moored up at Dittisham, where Rayne and Kevin served up the most amazing seafood platter! There was lobster, crab, prawns and salmon, together with Kevins delicious homemade bread, and all washed down with copious quantities of... More
