We arrived by boat which is a good way to appreciate what a wonderful setting for a house. From the harbour it is a bit of a walk up hill (there is transport for the less able) to the house. The house is a fascinating insight into Agatha's world and certainly where some of her stories came from

A boat trip from Dartmouth to Greenway and return is great. But the four hour time window was just not enough for us. I am not sure how this problem can be solved in the busy tourist season with outward boats being full. An interesting commentary on the boat adds to the experience.

We took the Gold ticket day out which included sailing from Torquay to Dartmouth and then on to Slapton Sands to hear about the US troop rehearsals for D Day. The Fairmile is a historic WW2 vessel and as such is not the most luxurious boat you will ever spend time on but the experience was great and the crew... More

We recently took the trip on Fairmile from Torquay to Dartmouth, then onto Slapton sands to hear the story of operation Tiger. The subject was handled with great respect by the young crew. Two minute silence at Slapton was very moving. This trip is a great tribute to the young men who gave there lives. Lest we Forget.

The man in the booth was really helpful, cheerful and polite which made the start of our 1/2 hour trip even more pleasant. It is a great way to travel the Dartmouth river and the commentary on the way back was brilliant. It would have been nice if the 'captain' had informed us at the start of the trip that... More

The man in charge of the Greenway Ferries booth at the end of Torquay pier was unbelievably rude when I asked a simple question about the ferry service to Dartmouth. He shouted at me that he had owned this business for over 30 years , it's astonishing that his business could survive that long under his leadership. I haven't travelled... More

For £10 pp this was a fabulous bargain. WWll boat took us from princess pier at which the young attendants thought nothing was too much trouble.Off to first stop Brixham with a narrative of the boats history on the way. Plenty of seats for all aboard. Next on to Dartmouth with some getting off to travel on to agatha's house... More
