I went along with my son, friend and her son. All and all a good day out. My son is 3 and feel that £9.95 entry fee to be steep for his age. The staff are very friendly but a little sparse. I loved that there was a lot of free activities for the children in the lunch areas (I.e... More

Sorry for a bad review on what is a sweet little place to visit for animal lovers. My family and I took my daughter to pennywell today for her 2nd birthday as she loves to get close to the animals and have a hold which is great as this is pennywells strong point but what is dragging my score to... All in all it was a good day out for me and my girlfriend. However, I feel that there should be more supervision at the pig handling section as the pigs can be a bit difficult at times.

Fantastic day out, fun for all! Love that the price includes the tractor, barrel and train rides. And of course the pigs are so cute!

When this was suggested to me as a day out for two grown men (in our 20's) I was slightly dubious to say the least what with no child to take along! I agreed mainly as I have a keen interest in pigs. Turns out I needn't have worried. The place is obviously child orientated but I enjoyed it immensely.... More

On holiday with wife and three year old son in Paignton. What a wonderful day out, plenty to do and see. He especially loved the pig racing and was over the moon that he got to hold the flag. Couldn't get him out of the play barns and he slept all the way home. Only small concern is that people... More

Thanks for the review and we are very pleased that you enjoyed your day. At quieter times of the year it is not always possible to have the piggy area supervised all the time which is why we have piggy cuddle sessions at regular intervals through the day. We don't want to stop visitors cuddling the pigs but do take... More

We arrived at 10:30 so had already missed some of the program, but there is something going on every half an hour. We started with the sheep feeding not only did you feed the sheep there milk but they got the kids involved making the milk. If there is something you don't want to do there is plenty of other... We visited Pennywell without any kids or family, during the school term time. There were a few school trips there but by no means busy. From walking into the farm to buy our tickets, to leaving through the gift shop we were greeted with smiles and enthusiasm from staff throughout the day. Time goes extremely quickly; an activity is organised... More

I visited with my partner and little 14month old baby girl. Despite the rain we had such a fun & interesting day out. There is such a lot to do for all age ranges. I was really impressed by how friendly the staff were. Almost all of them asked if we were having a good time...& we certainly were! Before... More

Thank you for the lovely comments, particularly about the staff! We really do want all our visitors to have a great day. It was also good to see your comments about our pigs. We don't mislead people about their size - adults are always here to see. I sincerely hope that were able to use your wet weather return ticket... More
