Came with our children aged 7 and 10. They had an amazing day and did not want to leave. It's mostly under cover which is fantastic. It was very quiet when we visited which was great, I'm sure it gets very busy in the summer!

Thank you very much for your 5 star rating - it makes all our hard work very worth while hearing such wonderful feedback. Being one of the largest undercover attractions in the south west it really does mean we can offer a full days entertainment no matter what the weather. I do hope we will see you back again soon... We visited here today primarily for a birthday party. Once there we were told the children would get a ticket to see Father Christmas and I have to say, that having met many Father Christmas's over the years, that this one was the most nicest, friendliest one I have ever met! He was so lovely to all the children and... More

For a day out with young children, our grandchildren are 20 months and 3 and a half, this place is perfect. Enough rides for even the smallest of children and a bit for the grownups too. Good cafes and toilet facilities. Always handy for a day out with little ones. A bonus I wasn't expecting was a very good birds... More

Dear Chris. To receive such a cracking review from a TripAdvisor Senior Contributor is always that little bit extra special as we know you have genuine and experienced opinions. You were obviously impressed with your day out here - especially the bird of prey display. David our falconer has a wonderful talent of entertaining and intriguing the crowds and people... More

This place is the oddest place you will possibly visit. Someone else has said it shouldn't work but it does and this is my sentiment also. We went with 4 children aged 5-9 and they all loved it. The dodgems are great and even though our youngest couldn't go on his own they did every other ride for smaller children... More

Dear Holly. I'm puzzled by your opinion that we're the oddest place you can possibly visit but delighted that this hasn't prevented yourself or your family from having a great time and leaving us a wonderful 5 star review. It certainly sounds like you had a fun filled day with plenty of laughter. The dodgems and bird of prey shows... More

Visited the milky way last week during off season. A fantastic day out for the kids and at good prices too, good thinking of the management to do a sliding scale of the prices! Falconry display was really good, and when he mentions he paints the birds you should really you and check them out.

We had a great time, even though it was out of season, quiet and raining. All the staff were very friendly and enthusiastic. The archery man was patient and a good teacher; the man in charge of the rides encouraged us to go on the train (even though we were the only passengers); the juggler gave a brilliant performance and... The Milky Way has something for all ages, great staff and customer service. The new restaurant is great value, lots of choice and excellent service. The Little Stars play area is spotlessly clean and perfectly designed for pre-schoolers and babies, a warm comfortable environment for young families. It's the nicest pre-school play area I have ever been to (and there... More

Good value. Makes a change to not be charged extra for rides etc in addition to entrance fee. Great value for younger family.

Dear Stacey. I'm so pleased you noted the fact we don't charge extra for rides etc despite keeping our entrance fees in-line or below other attractions in the south west. Being parents ourselves we understand how a pound here and there can quickly mount up - so we're quite proud that we don't take advantage of this situation in our... More
