The location of this hotel is perfect for those who love to photograph rugged cliff top landscapes and crashing waves, but the hotel itself?!!! On our recent visit to Tintagel we walked along to the Camelot Hotel to view the landscape and take some photo's and decided to stop for a coffee. On entering the hotel we felt as though... More

8 of us decided to go for tea and cake in the afternoon. The drinks were all average, as was the chocolate cake that I had, but the prices were high. The service was also average and somewhere we will not go back to, even just for tea!

The perfect place for a relaxing cocktail on a rainy evening. Wood fires keep the chill off and the gorgeous decor makes for a pleasant and restful time. Would be back in a second.

I am writing this review to let people know how I was treated on my recent Holiday, Me & my Brother used to go to here with our family when it was King Authers Hotel, we had some really nice times here, so when we came back to Tintagel we thought we will have a walk down to see it,... More

We visited the hotel bar whilst staying at the hotel. We shared a charcuterie platter and bowl of Mussels in Thai broth. The food was really tasty, locally produced and of a high quality. The service was really good too. Thank you.

We came across the hotel last summer and returned to stay on the 6th and 7th Jan. I had some reservations about booking after reading some of the reviews, but I am glad we stayed. A warm welcome from staff, lovely food and a very comfortable bed with a lovely bathroom. The hotel has a quirky creepy feel, but with... More

From the moment we walked in to the moment we left the service was impecable!! We booked on a Friday night in December for a meal with our friends. We were shown to a table by the window next to a huge christmas tree. The menu wasnt huge but what was on there was varied. We were given warm bread... More

It's hard to describe what is so bizarre about this place. From the outside you get excited because it is picturesque and its where they filmed some of Roahl Dahl's The Witches, but inside there is this this weird cultish feeling, staff asked us 'are we friends of the owner' in knowing tones, and all around there were staff in... My husband and I visited here in search of a cream tea. The explorers tea room has its own entrance to the side of the building and on arrival we were invited to select a table. The only view from this cliff side location was from one bay window crammed with other guests and even then it lacked a direct... More
