We've visited this beach for the past 2 years due to its calm setting and delicious café. My parents say that the pasties are the best in Cornwall and I know that the baguettes are delicious. I'm sure I've had some squid from there which was again lovely and the chips are yum - as are most chips in St.... More

We eat here every year. Covered/heated outdoor area plus main restaurant. Situated just above the beautiful beach. Great for lunch or an evening meal. Good selection of food including daily specials. Nice, efficient and attentive staff.

Tucked away location in Portmeor area and less hectic than Portminster.the Beach cafe is good as well. The parking can be a problem though.

We spent several days at this beach, it was great for the kids because they did not have far to go so easier to keep your eye on them. The waves were just right for a bit of body boarding and the sand fantastic for castle building. There is a café by the beach for snacks and drinks and you... More

A small popular beach for families. You can keep your eyes on the kids. You do need to get there early for a good spot. Some small rock pools for junior rock poolers. Can be a little tricky for buggy access, but not if lots of pairs of hands. Always worth the visit when in St Ives with young children.
