Porthgwidden cafe is my favorite place on earth! Food and wine are great, the staff are lovely and the outlook is the best! It gets better every time I visit St Ives - A must for anyone!

Excellent! Catered for special diet. Friendly helpful and great relaxed atmosphere, overlooking the beach. No negatives to report!

We've eaten here a few times and always enjoyed it and this was no exception. We got the window seat which is always a plus (and particularly on New Year's Eve!) and food and service were lovely. If I was being picky the sauce for my Sea Bream was a touch too tomatoey but the fish was beautifully cooked and... More

We both opted for the steak and were not disappointed For us though the highlight was the service. On the night we were there the sole waitress dealt professionally with a... More

This is a very good restaurant for seafood, atmosphere and sea views. Friendly staff and consistently good food, the seafood Linguini is arguably one of the best in St Ives! Dog friendly as well which is a plus!

My daughter & I were on holiday in St Ives, & visited Porthgwidden Beach, the day hurricane Gonzales hit South West England. (Tuesday 21st October 2014.) The setting was amazing. The normally calm water was a blanket of surf from one side to the other, with white horses out on the ocean as far as the eye could see. The... More
