Great little beach. There is the Porthgwidden cafe on site. Watch the seagulls stealing your food! Be warned, getting parked is a nightmare....

Beautiful beach! Has everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing day at the beach, if you get the weather you would easily forget you are still in England! Just beware of the seagulls, given the chance they will have your breakfast, lunch & dinner!!!

This beach has it all if you have toddlers. A nice small size with golden sands, lots of rock pools to explore and has all the amenities you need. Not to windy either as it's tucked away.

Lovely and picturesque, tucked away behind the 'island' car park, no dogs from easter, small enough to the kids to run about and not get lost!

We Spent many years holidays in St Ives and this year returned after 31 years. We always booked a beach chalet on Porthgwidden beach and took all our buckets, spades, wind-breaks etc down on our 1st day of the holiday. It is such a lovely beach and being only small you can see your children quite easily. The beach cafe... More
