We were looking for a lovely beach to visit with the dog. This was recommended to us and we weren't disappointed. We walked from St Ives along to Carbis Bay and then on to Porthkidney. The walk took about an hour and was well worth it when we arrived. Plenty of it and the dog loved it!

We struggled in St Ives and Car is Bay for somewhere to wake our dog so we looked online and found here! It was fantastic, quiet, golden sand and great for a long quiet walk with your doggie! Best beach in Cornwall.

This vast beach is not so easy to get to which makes it mostly empty. There are several paths between Carbis Bay and Hayle with glorious views of the beach and the sea beyond which makes it appealing all year round. The sand isn't always easy to walk on but when the conditions are right, it's fine. Catch the tide... More

One of very few beaches in the area that are dog freindly all year round with no restrictions, let's hope it stays that way . no real parking so it is a bit of a walk .and quite a steep climb back up to whatever remote place you did manage to park.

Came across this beach whilst walking part of the South West Coastal path. It is lovely and unspoilt. It is definitely worth a visit.

The main beach which is good for dog walking all year round. Beautiful expanse of perfect white sand on the estuary.

It's a brilliant beach for walking / swimming but has some VERY strong rip-tides. So any inflatables are banned

Just so much sand! And great for the kites, as the wind whips round there! Our son could run for miles and not bump into anything! Definitely worth a walk.
