I went on a walk on a Tuesday from the front of the Guild Hall with Tony Farrell - not to be confused with other walks by other people from the same place at the same time (but not the same day), although I understand he also does a walk on a Friday. It was extremely interesting and particularly because... More

We went on a walking tour with local and very knowledgeable historian, Tony Farrell. This is well worth it, with background information on local history, including the lives of hard working fishermen who often risked their lives for their trade. Quite insiteful and remarkable.A must when visiting St Ives.

Knowledgeable, enthusiastic and charming tour guide made all the difference on a blowy, blustery day. Something for every interest, as well as bringing the history of St Ives over the centuries alive.

Thank you so much to Dawn, our walking tour guide. Her enthusiasm for and love of St Ives shone through on this tour. We found out so much about the history of St Ives as well as interesting local information. The best five pounds you can spend in St Ives.

A walking tour around 90 minutes long offering a good insight to the history of the town. The speaker spoke with good knowledge and clarity. An enjoyable tour for adults.

We visited St Ives in May and joined the tour, not having had time to book in advance. It was just as described by other reviewers; very knowledgeable, friendly and informative. Highly recommended!

This morning I did a walking tour, over 2 hours with Tony a local retired school teacher. This was the best local tour I have done anywhere. Tony was informative interesting and gave great insight into this very beautiful place. All for a tiny sum of money!!

Last week we joined Dawn on her Monday walking tour and had a wonderful time. Her enthusiasm was catching and was not dampened by a sudden shower,.After hearing Dawn's explanations about street and house names we looked on the town in a new light and investigated more than we may otherwise have done. We also particularly enjoyed seeing the paintings... More
