This beach is Fantastic. Very big long and sandy, perfect for building Sandcastles and paddling in the sea. Also it is very clean and has like a kids club with activities for the children. Will be coming back soon.

Fabulous golden sandy beach in a beautiful part of the country. Great for kids. Tide goes out a long way. A few rocks either end of the beach to climb on / jump off. Small golf putting course right on the beach. Beach cafe with hot drinks / cold beers and very good food. Perfect place to be on a... More

Clean and well kept. Sandy beach with a cafe and restaurant. Worth a walk to. It was too cold to sunbathe and swim there when we went but looks like the sort of beach that would be perfect to enjoy on a warm sunny day!

I have not been to every beach in England but this one was by far the best I've seen. Long White Pure Sandy Heaven! and the tides are fun to watch... not to mention the seals we saw on West Pier! It's a bit cold but you get numb to it. I'm sure most Brits are very accustomed to the... More

Great beach, good facilities but crowded. The cafe is expensive and exclusive. Been going there since I was a kid. Not changed a lot!!

This beach was fantastic and when the sea goes out is the best for skimming. We also had a day with fantastic waves which were great fun. Opposite the Tate.

In my view, Porthminster is the best of the St. Ives beaches - although, every beach in this seaside heaven is glorious. Porthminster is big, sandy and with the right amount of waves. Rocks for climbing and walkways via the Pednolva. Once upon a time a raft floated in the water but there's still loads to do - check out... More
