This beach has got to be in my top ten. Very close to St.Ives town and the Tate gallery, and in the winter months dogs are allowed on the beach. There is a really good cafe on the beach which offers very good food, wine & beer.

The beach was clean and tidy and well maintained a credit to the town. We do crabbing with the kids and loved every moment of it.

Great cafe overlooking beach! Excellent service, food and drink - stunning views and heated pods! Surf school runs out of Porthmeor Beach so an interesting place to sit and watch surfers and the world go by!

Fabulous avocado and feta sandwich, kids loved it, although service was a little sporadic. Had a lovely spot outside on the terrace in the sunshine with a bottle of Pinot Blush. Ansom.
