We had a brilliant day at Carbis Bay! It is a beautiful place. All the locals are very friendly. Plenty of amenities! Really enjoyed our selves. Only downside was almost impossible to park- when you do park it is very expensive- £6.70. Would have returned but decided to go elsewhere due to car parking costs! A great place!

We walked round from St Ives on a glorious April day - blue sky, green sea and white sand. The bay at Carbis Bay is vast, with fabulous sand, and palm trees along the strand on the walk along the coast. We walked back as well but the train is very handy if you are too tired to walk back.

A group of us (11) rented a fantastic house on Carbis Bay hill called Dolphinholme which really had the 'wow' factor for a forthcoming 50th birthday. We travelled down from Lancashire & stayed Fri- Mon. The bottom of the garden led onto the coastal path which leads into St Ives. We spent lots of time around St Ives over the... More

Beautiful, clean, sandy, waves, surf, British beach at its best. Come in the summer and you can't park and in the winter it can be nippy. But a classic!
