Carbis Bay Hotel overlooks this fine beach, it is clean and offers magnificent views across to the Godrevy Lighthouse and Gwithian Bay. Grey seals are often seen close to the shore and the beach is 'dog friendly' during the winter months.

In my humble opinion Carbis Bay takes the accolade for best beach. It is deep enough and long enough to not be swamped by other beachgoers.

Lovely afternoon tea served in the conservatory with a great sea view. Staff were very attentive and the cakes and sandwiches were just right. Nothing was too much trouble as we asked for vegetarian friendly sandwiches which were served no problem. Thank you all

Unspoilt, quiet, no off-putting beachside shops/amusements/chippys, just a wonderful place to feel the wind in your hair and enjoy the beautiful views. Please do not change Carbis Bay

Great Sunday morning stroll, not so long that you get back exhausted but not to short, if you aren't staying at the Carbis Bay Hotel and Spa or using their car park sace some energy for the walk up the hill

We enjoy Carbis Bay and St Ives at all times of the year. I always get a little smile as a spot the sea driving down Boskerris Rd. This year I went to the Penlee Gallery in Penzance for the first time - amazing exhibition - just the right size for a morning's diversion. We also had our first meal... More

Been coming to St Ives on holiday a number of times and always enjoyed our time. Been looking for a property in the area and finally found our dream place with an amazing view in Carbis Bay. Carbis Bay is the place to come to as you can walk or catch the train to St Ives so you are not... More

Beautiful village - very friendly people and the view of the beach reminds me of Noosa Beach, in Queensland.

A very nice place to chill out, relax, have a drink and take in the lovely port of st ives. Watch out for the seagulls if you have food. They are the size of flying camels!......
