We walked from St Ives to Carbis Beach, a great walk along the beach and cliff walk, it was really worth it as it is less commercial than theSt Ives beaches. There are a number of good bars on the beach and a lovely Hotel

Loved it... one of the most beautiful places to sit and while away the afternoon or go for a swim if your brave!

We walked the short distance on the coastal path from St Ives to Carbis Bay Beach. The beach is stunning and very clean, the sea crystal clear. We did have a drink at the hotel beach café there, but beware, it is very expensive

If you are looking for some peace and tranquility then head for Carbis Bay, the Hotel is amazing so you will be well looked after, the beach is very sheltered and has a few places for coffee and light bites. Then if you have the energy take the coast path to St Ives for some stunning views.

Crabis Bay main beach is right by the railway station so worth a trip along the scenic railway route which runs from St Erth to St Ives - you can buy various money saving tickets. If you go by car you will be faced with parking in the hotel car park, they own the beach and it's expensive parking but... More
