Beautiful location with stunning views and a beautiful hotel!! Unfortunately the pool was closed for 2 days during our stay so we didn't get to enjoy the faculties. The coastal walk to St Ives is lovely! Can't fault the location and the hotel itself - very well decorated! Only thing wasn't so keen on was the food. Very expensive and... More

As per many of the other reviews, this beach/bay is genuinely lovely. Not only is it a very picturesque setting, with stunning views afforded from certain roads above Carbis Bay, but it's also quite up market, which helps to leave this whole area, just South of St.Ives, having a very "well looked after" feel about it. A very warm and... More

the beach is just beautiful, lovely for a morning/afternoon walk from one end to the other or a picnic if the weather is nice. We stayed in a cottage a short walk from the beach so made a daily trip to it as it was so quiet and very relaxing. The hotel in the bay has built a new café/bar... More

We were staying in St Ives during half term week and there was a DVD player in our cottage. We decided to walk along the coast path from St Ives to Carbis Bay which we have done before as it's quite nice. The beach cafe has now been upgraded and owned by the hotel but we just had coffees and... More

We visited this beach mid afternoon on a sunny Saturday in August and it was packed! There is a bit of a steep hill to walk down (and back up!) to get to this beach, but it only takes a couple of minutes. There is a train station at the top of the hill. Limited car parking is available at... More

We stayed in Carbis out terrace overlooked this beautiful stretch of the Cornish coast. Gentle walk down (not so much going back up the steep hill, next to the train station), when you get to the beach the Carbis hotel is overlooking the beach and there is a snack bar and they have a private bar. The beach is wonderful... More

This restaurant charges more than any places in St Ives. Nearly £9 for margeurita pizza and £14 for three tiny coffees and a herbal tea. They do a "special" of nearly £6 for a coffee and a cake ! Maybe they think the clientele should be from the house up the road which is selling for £2.5 million ! Families... More

My first time to this area of St. Ives. My only gripe is the steep hill down to the beach and walking up again to the station or buses along the top of the main road. Despite it being October there were a lot of people enjoying the beach, some even swimming and playing games. A few cafes to eat... More

It was a wonderful experience to find this bay. Wonderful scenario with the most amazing sea ahead of us. A perfect place to have a romantic walk or just to enjoy the place with family kids or simply play with the dogs.
