Great, clean beach. Lovely clean water and nice cafe. Canoe hire was well priced and staff were helpful. Shame about the crazy seaguls. :)

Carbis Bay is just a stone's throw away from St Ives, but it is a great beach in its own right. It is sandy and it's pleasant to swim/paddle in (if not too windy!). The parking is limited right next to the beach and in summer they do charge £10. However, this allows you to stay all day and you... More

Went here on our first afternoon, Short walk down to the beach but remember you have to walk back up later. Beach was a very nice sandy beach and not too crowded. Couple of nice places to eat (and drink) but do not forget that walk up the hill if you are not driving

the most amazing little bay, great for a day on the beach playing games and picnicking, or go when the crowds have left, around 7 and BBQ. Toilets, bar and shop.

Carbis Bay is a lovely place to visit with plenty of hotels to choose from. There is a lovely safe sandy beach for families or even couples to enjoy. With cafe's beside the beach. St Ives is only 2 miles away which you can catch a bus or train as the railway station is close by. In the school holiday... More

Carbis Bay is stunningly beautiful, with a fantastic sandy beach, lots of places to buy drinks and food, and ideal for kayaking, which is primarily what we were doing. Only thing that is a bit of a negative is the £10 parking charge. This has gone up by 100% over two years.
