The Fisherman's Friends can most often be seen and heard down on The Platt most Friday evenings, weather permitting. Their open air concerts are free but they use the opportunity to raise money for local charities - last night, it was The Sea Mans Mission. They are great entertainers and we always enjoy the atmosphere they create which is so... More

It's amazing to watch them sing with the sun setting at their back! Get a take-away food and get a good sit on the Platt before the performance start

We have heard the Fishermans Friends on quite a few occasions, the last time being at the Royal Cornwall Show. Each time we hear them they give their best. They have great harmony and have as much fun singing as we do listening to them. Hope to hear you for many years to come.

Very often on a Friday night the well known group of Port Isaac fishermen and other tradesman join together to sing their songs of the sea on the beach in Port Isaac, weather & tide permitting. This is a free concert and a collection is taken for local charities. I wondered whether a couple of hours or so of songs... More

Saw the guys singing on the Platt whilst staying in Port Isaac and we loved them! They are such lovely blokes, very funny and their singing is amazing. Well done to them for having the courage to continue singing. Saw them at the Cornwall show the next day and they were fab. Not my usual choice of music but I... More

We loved watching the Fishermand Friends. We were hoping to see them at the harbourside but because of the rain they moved to the village hall. We had a fabulous time watching them and it was the perfect way to finish our honeymoon!

We were hoping to see the Fisherman Friends on the Plat but due to the weather they hastily relocated to the village hall where they packed in an audience of locals and visitors. They did not disappoint. Port Isaac is proud of the group and we could see why. If you are in Port Isaac on a Friday night, do... More

Thoroughly enjoyed my first visit to see these lovely, and very talented, people perform live! Slight rain meant that the performance was relocated to the village hall, so bit of a trek up the hill for me as I have mobility issues. I didn't care, I would happily have crawled over broken glass to get there! A fabulous evening; can't... More
