A great thrill to sit outside and have a coffee despite the pool not being serviceable after the winter storms. One of the best views in Penzance and pleasant staff, along with great coffee. Worth a visit, especially as it all helps to keep it open.

So sorry to see the Jublilee Pool at the moment as it waits for work to repair the terrible damage caused in February this year. It does look as if work can start shortly as they has been a grant of almost 2 million, but locally there is a need to fund raise as much as possible

……the Jubilee Pool in such a sad state and closed. Hope the town people are lucky enough to have some money invested in this iconic landmark.

Sat in the little restaurant next door to this outdoor pool one evening looking out across and beyond to the sea. The owner of the restaurant informed me the pool needs major structural work carried out due to damage caused by the sea undermining the bottom of the pool amongst other work required to bring it up to standard. The... More

This place must have been gorgeous. It is now closed because it's been damaged by the bad weather and the locals are trying to reopen it. Even if you cannot go inside and enjoy the pool, you can still enjoy the view from the cafe.

This pool was recently damaged by storms and looking very sad and neglected....hopefully the appeal will raise the money to fix it as it must have been great in its heyday!

It is a wonderfully huge pool but due to recent storm damage it has been closed. The locals are raising money for repairs. I hope it re-opens as it would be a wonderful place to swim. :(

This pool was under repair due to recent storm damage, but it is an amazing thing to behold. It is salt water---carried in from Mount's Bay---and an incredible landmark in Penzance.

Lovely little cafe in the front at Penzance adjoined to the currently-closed Jubilee Pool lido - a historic and huge pool awaiting money for repairs after storm damage. Good for people-watching and excellent Tregothnan teas. The Victoria sponge with cream, strawberries and raspberries was so yummy that I had to test a second piece. The cafe is open into the... More
