I only found out about this vineyard after trying one of their ciders at the Jamie's Fifteen restaurant in Newquay. I love to purchase locally produced food/drinks and have visited the shop regularly and purchased their range of tasty ciders, two new ones to try black and pink. It does cost abit more than stuff in the supermarket but is... More

We were lucky to visit when the English Wine Week was taking place. Our tasting was therefore free. Really nice wines and a well stocked shop. Tours are only on certain days, so check on their website first.

The tour lasted about an hour and a half, none of the machinery was demonstrated however, There was 3 wines to taste and 2 ciders. On red letter day is states your get a bottle of cider to take away, this is not the case though which was a bit disappointing to an otherwise pleasant tour

Stumbled across this little vineyard on our Cornish travels, thought we had to have a look - great decision! The guided tour was informative, and was followed by gorgeous wine tasting. Shoutout to the guy that showed us around! Bought a load of cider and wine from the shop on the way out too. Highly recommend!

We stopped off at Polgoon Vineyard as we like to try local produce whilst holidaying and we were interested in English wine. We were not disappointed. We did not do the tour as the weather was dreadful. However we popped into the shop and were instantly offered samples of the wine. It did not disappoint. We bought white, a lot... More

We called it here to try and fine that elusive British wine - a decent red - and failed. Having said that we did find some very pleasant white and bought some to take home.

The holiday cottage on the vineyard is a real home from home. Kim, John and all the staff are very welcoming and friendly and leave you a welcome pack of Polgoon goodies!! The cottage is also dog friendly and they are more than happy to check on your dog if you go out for the day, in fact I know... More

You don't have to be a wine expert to find this tour really interesting. The owners (John and Kim) started out with no prior knowledge of vineyard management and has worked hard to make the place a success. His passion is really evident, and the wines I tried were stunning - more fruit than you usually get in English wines,... More

We went on the vineyard and orchard tour with tasting afterwards- this was really interesting and good fun. Informative talk while we were on the tour and during tastings. Their wines and ciders are delicious, great for at home and also for gifts. Shop is packed full of other local foods for sale as well as their drinks. Would recommend... More
