Interesting tour of the apple orchard and vines with clear but not too detailed or lengthy description and explanation of the different vines and processes in producing the wine. Knowledgeable guide in the owners' son, happy to answer questions. Good wine tasting section of the visit with generous and varied samples. Wines, ciders and deli products available in the shop.... Often pass this on the A30. Decided to have a look. It is not an attraction as such, a shop and a supply of things I hadn't seen elsewhere. You can sample the wines and cider. I purchased a bottle of wine which was very nice, but not worth the £15 I paid for it. The cider and wine is... More

We popped into the shop on our way back to our holiday cottage. The girl behind the counter was very welcoming and friendly, offering lots of samples of wine and cider to try. The wine is expensive for the quality, that isn't to say it's unpleasant; but the price of a bottle of sparkling white is the same as buying... More

Had a nice afternoon at the vineyard. It was great to see and taste quality English wine. I would have liked to see a bit more about how wine is actually made from the grapes but overall it was a nice tour.

I only found out about this vineyard after trying one of their ciders at the Jamie's Fifteen restaurant in Newquay. I love to purchase locally produced food/drinks and have visited the shop regularly and purchased their range of tasty ciders, two new ones to try black and pink. It does cost abit more than stuff in the supermarket but is... More

We were lucky to visit when the English Wine Week was taking place. Our tasting was therefore free. Really nice wines and a well stocked shop. Tours are only on certain days, so check on their website first.

The tour lasted about an hour and a half, none of the machinery was demonstrated however, There was 3 wines to taste and 2 ciders. On red letter day is states your get a bottle of cider to take away, this is not the case though which was a bit disappointing to an otherwise pleasant tour

Stumbled across this little vineyard on our Cornish travels, thought we had to have a look - great decision! The guided tour was informative, and was followed by gorgeous wine tasting. Shoutout to the guy that showed us around! Bought a load of cider and wine from the shop on the way out too. Highly recommend!

We stopped off at Polgoon Vineyard as we like to try local produce whilst holidaying and we were interested in English wine. We were not disappointed. We did not do the tour as the weather was dreadful. However we popped into the shop and were instantly offered samples of the wine. It did not disappoint. We bought white, a lot... More
