A bit of fun for the kids

The pirate ship was very appealing to my son. We took a few photos and gave our donation to the RNLI, as requested. The shop itself is small, but the range was ok and good value.

This place is a nice little pirate themed shop on a ship. The design of the ship is perhaps most appealing to kids but is more than capable of bringing a smile to an adult face too. It is not huge (owing to the space on board) but they have a good range of items which I thought were actually... More

a great little shop / ship with lots of exciting pirate themed goodies, good for the kids and reasonably priced (compared to most places)

We popped in to get out of a rain shower. Wish we'd got wet instead. Drying off would have been more fun!

We really enjoyed our visit to the pirate shop, the entrance going down from the deck added excitement! It makes wondering around the shops a bit more interesting for kids such a good idea. It added to our day in Penzance.

Pure and simply don't bother with this. Really low-quality stuff at extortionate prices. Came here for a pirate-loving friend who wanted a souvenir and left empty-handed as you can get much better elsewhere. Not so much an attraction as a shop.

Uninterested guy, who doesn't acknowledge anyone, looks miserable, surrounded by a bunch of cheap tack that one could buy at any pound shop in the area. A real shame, considering the location of the shop.

Has a few t-shirts, the rest is stuff that is found in most of the other larger gift shops in Penzance. Lacked any kind of imagination or effort, shame as its a good idea.

I can only agree with other reviewers who were disappointed with this attraction. It is just a tourist trash shop in disguise. Shoddy goods at exorbitant prices. The shop assistant looked as if he couldn't wait to lock up and go home. Our grandsons, who usually want to buy everything they see, wanted to leave before the adults wanted to... More
