We walked to this beach from where we were staying on Narrowcliffe (about a 10 minute walk with a child). It was mid afternoon on a Saturday, but it was pretty quiet with plenty of room. The bay is very lovely and looks out to the west and offers excellent views of the sunset, which as we found later in... More

Staying in Tintagel, decided to head to Lusty Glaze for the evening (two families of four). Wind was blowing, but we sat and had a paella with some live music playing and watched the sun go down. Was picture perfect.

Lusty Glaze is still a beautiful beach but if you want peace and quiet unless well out of season not possible, instead of zip wire you now have noisy jet ski's which are great if you are a noisy tourist but not so if you remember the tranquility of this cove. Such a pity no free shower facilities anymore if... More

Dear Harry Thank you for taking the time to review our premises. Naturally we are disappointed that you have not enjoyed your recent visit. Thank you also for using Trip Advisor which gives us the opportunity to respond. Lusty Glaze is a privately owned beach. This also means that the cost of maintaining a piece of our glorious coast lies... More

Had a great morning at Lusty Glaze. I would recommend this place very strongly. Lovely private beach, excellent staff, excellent activities and lots of fun. My twins had a fantastic lesson this morning with an awesome instructor who really took care & looked after my kids. Andy clearly loves his job and has a great sense of fun which my... More

I attended a school trip to Newquay, and while we were there we visited Lusty Glaze. I will never forget the first time I surfed. The instructors were helpful, friendly and challanged all of us to try this new activity and stand up on the board. With their help, all of us learned a lot about surfing, and I reccomend... More

My wife and I visited the beach during the day taking advantage of the facilities. Now this is a private beach that is open to the public. The owners do a fabulous job of providing 5* comforts, the bar is well stocked and staffed as is the beach shop. Comfort facilities are clean and in good order. We spent the... More

Visited Lusty Glaze for a wedding. The venue was fantastic, the staff were more than helpful and the weather was stunning! The bar was a little expensive but not unexpected for a a tourist attraction and wedding venue. The steps down to the venue are a problem for disabled and elderly guests however there are many resting points along the... More

After looking at the website and seeing the cliff adventure packages, we walked to this beach expecting a day of activities. We were told the activities were stopped due to health and safety. The girl on a quad bike then drove off mid conversation so I walked back to give my girls the unfortunate news. The website shoes the activities... More

Me and my boyfriend visited this restaurant in February was recommended by friends that it's extremely romantic and magical. I was left feeling disappointed, it didn't live up to the amazing expectations. However the food was good and staff were pleasant.
