A fantastic beach in the heart of Newquay. The steps up and down can be hard work but well worth it for the beach. A quiet cove which faces west so you get to watch the sun set over the surf, with amazing food, great staff, brilliant lifeguards on hand and an adventure centre to keep the kids out of... More

Myself, my 4 year old and my parents stayed in the beach cottage for a week over New Year. It exceeded all of our expectations. The cottage was spacious with every amenity we could think of, it was beautifully decorated and you can't beat being able to lie in bed and look at the amazing sea view. We enjoyed having... More

We went for a walk along the beach and the kids had a fab time exploring! The sun was out (although) it was December but the coves shelter you from the winds. Will definitely be back in the Summer.

with legendary tides and surf and soft sand couldn't ask for more the only drawback is that it is in a cove (like the majority of the beaches) and you have to either go down narrow and steep steps or gradually go back and forwards down to the beach!

Lusty Glaze beach is on the outskirts of Newquay and avoids many of the overcrowded streets and limited parking that visiting other beaches attracts. There's a decent car park by the access to the beach and many people park in the residential streets nearby. The beach itself is at the foot of a cliff with a long stairway down which... More

We attended the Bellowhead sundowner session in August. The band were great, so I'll say no more about them. Lusty Glaze was an interesting venue. Both food and drink was fairly priced and the arrangements for collecting tickets fine. I have given 4 stars, but my wife and daughter would have given 2 stars due to inadequate ladies toilets -... Thank you for your review. I am so glad you enjoyed the concert! There were some amazingly memorable moments during this gig - my favourite was when the whole beach started jumping up and down as one! With respect to the toilet situation, we are sorry about the wait for the ladies loos. Unfortunately due to the unique and spectacular... More

We came here by accident when looking a beach at short notice. It is was very easy to find and seemed less hassle than the bigger beaches in Newquay. Parking was very easy compared to other beaches also. The beach itself is life guarded in high season, which is very reassuring, especially if you have children. There is a small... More

We stayed here last year for a week (couple plus 8 year old) and would happily have stayed at one of the two beach chalets, had there been any availability. As it was, we stayed at Watergate Bay, a few miles further along the coast, and came to Lusty Glaze twice for dinner (this time we were a couple plus... More
