I have a problem unless you wait until high tide and are able to walk along all of the beaches that are joined together that the very steep steps down to the beach make it almost impossible to get down or up again I am not surprised that there is accommodation on some beaches because the thought of trying to... Thank you for your review which I give 2 out of 5 stars, as I only know your name and have never met you. Whilst you may think that giving a beach you haven't visited 2 out of 5 stars because you didn't fancy the steps is a flippant thing to do with no real consequence, let me please make... More

Walked to find this place after all the great reviews. It's a lovely quaint beach with a wonderful view.. however.. there are loads of steep, narrow steps down to the beach.. and we changed our mind with a buggy in tow. So we admired it from the top. Worth a visit though.

Great little hidden beach. Well not to hidden but nicely out the way. Still where a few families with there dogs on there and was a great place to swim. Not so much the surfing as there are a few big rocks but still there were a few people giving it a go. The only thing is that are quite... More

Really like this beach as it is more fine shingle than sand and doesn't get everywhere. Big negative is the steps down to it, well the steps back up are the big problem all 100+ of them so have a think about what you are taking with you. I was like a pack horse gettting back up. Good facilities too,... More

This is a lovely beach and worth the many steps up and down. We were so looking forward to hiring a beach hut for the day and were fortunate to have great weather. However, the only beach hut available for daily hire is next to the jet ski rental area and doesn't seem to get much sun at certain times... More

Well worth the 100+ steps to get down there( they're much worse on the way back up!). A really nice clean beach. They had a beach rugby tournament on while we were there which was great fun. Nice facilities for food, drink and toilets etc.

I love this beach, and always visit when we are in town. I am not a surfer, but the waves look good and there are always people enjoying surfing or body boarding. The main attraction for us is the rock pools and the little caves to explore, the kids (15 & 7 yrs) love it!! The beach is accessible by... More

Surrounded by high cliffs and only accessible by descending / ascending 130 + steps this is only for the fit! however once on the beach you will find clean sand washed by the Atlantic Ocean and usually good surf. There is a beach cafe and surfboards etc can be hired.Toilets.

One of the best beaches in newquay in my opinion.... Always kept in great condition with clean water and sheltered from much of the wind. Fabulous beach
