We came here by accident when looking a beach at short notice. It is was very easy to find and seemed less hassle than the bigger beaches in Newquay. Parking was very easy compared to other beaches also. The beach itself is life guarded in high season, which is very reassuring, especially if you have children. There is a small... More

We stayed here last year for a week (couple plus 8 year old) and would happily have stayed at one of the two beach chalets, had there been any availability. As it was, we stayed at Watergate Bay, a few miles further along the coast, and came to Lusty Glaze twice for dinner (this time we were a couple plus... More

A lovely local beach. Clean sand, clear water, lifeguards 10 - 6 in the summer. An ice cream hut with terrible coffee; a burger / snack bar. Burger fine, chips recooked but not in a cheffie way. Restaurant and bar we did not get to try as there were bands on. But bar on beach had beer , a decent... More

My husband and I visited Lusty Glaze beach when attending the Ocean Colour Scene Sundowner gig on 17th August. The beach is surrounded by cliffs in a horse-shoe shape. In order to access the beach you have to descend/ climb 133 steps. We ate at the Lusty Glaze restaurant the night before and unfortunately did not get to see the... More

Lusty Glaze as a venue is probably my new favourite restaurant. It is literally right on the beach and it has been tastefully decorated with sparkly fairy lights and romantic beachy theme. We went on a night where there was live music and the artists were amazing, very impressed and it all added to the WOW factor of this stunning... More

Well worth a visit and a meal. Lovely wedding venue, gorgeous sunsets and food. Lots of steps so not good for a pushchair or wheelchair.

There are lots of things to do here, lots of activities. There's a restaurant and a bar and a take-away. The Take-away is quite cheap. The beach is all shells, no sand and i felt quite out of place there. Because it is a private beach, a lot of people know each other and it's like walking into a village... More

Great beach, safe for children. Only downside is the access which is down some very steep steps, which with all your beach gear is a bit of a hike, but this wouldn't put us off. There are takeaways, restaurant, bar, shop, I think they have it covered. There are activities available to hire, zip wire, jet ski's, do-nut/banana rides. My... More

This is one of the most stunning beaches I have ever visited, the steps are quite steep but not as bad as they are made out to be. The water is so clear and blue it could easily rival a beach abroad. The restaurant was amazing we had lunch there and it was delicious. If in Newquay it is well... More
