One of the nicest beaches I've been to

Beautiful beach, when the tide goes out there is lovely secluded quiet bits of beach round near the rocks and lots of rock pools.

lovely beach for families and surfers and exploring caves and rock pools. Need to be fairly fit as the steps and the slope are quite a hike. But I managed it at 63 so should be ok for most and seen lots of Mums with pushchairs. So quite do able.

Smaller in size than other beaches along coast with body boarding and surfing lessons available, equipment hire etc. My friends happy to sit all day in sun, whilst I and another friend looked around the shops and walked along the other main beaches.

This is a beautiful little beach, a little gem. I imagine not a hugely popular beach for tourists because of the steep decline downwards but we are staying at a hotel across the road, so we popped down there today and it really is lovely, even in the foggy overcast British weather! We'll be going down tomorrow to try a... More

Not been for over 35 yrs, not disappointed, but Newquay has a bad name with locals and Cornish people mainly because of the stag/hen parties. We enjoyed it for the beaches and the great work done to the 2 feature Hotels. The Headland & Atlantic, both are done to perfection. Newquay looks scruffy due to the amount of ROOMS to... More

This is the beach that I visited most often. It is in a great location and the bar/restaurant serves fantastic seafood and cider.

Wonderful beach with onbeach accomodation, chalets, surf lessons, ball games and much much more. Very clean and with the RNLI lifeguards patroling this and all the beaches round to Newquay harbour make it very safe. You can either choose to climb down the stairs and up the roadway or visa versa. Clean sands and caves, outstanding views from the top... More

This is a great beach, although it is down steps quite a way, I spent a lot of time on this and Towan beach, it has toilets, cafe's , restaurant, if you can get down there you will enjoy yourself.
