Leave the bikes at your accom for this excursion unless you want to chain them at top of the steep stairs! Top beach for little kids and aspiring surfers as learner schools also here. Very clean with cafes etc and safe caves to explore and shells to examine. Beware the tides they run out a long way and can come... More

We stumbled upon this pleasant little beach on our first day in Newquay. There's not much to say other than it's a beach, it's clean and there is a little cafe there selling ice creams for those who like us wanted to do the touristy bit of an ice-cream on the beach.

Really beautiful beach....beware 136 steep steps down then 136 steps to climb back up!!..having said this, absolutely worth the effort! Stunning views, shops, beach huts, clean sand, rocks, caves and beautiful sea...what more could anyone want? Highly recommended!!

Great beach, wonderful views. Very good for kids groups or for bigger families. Some water sports available and range of activities on the beach. Recommend to visit while in Newquay.

A Fantastic beach with heaps of amenities and just across the sand you can visit Newquay Harbour where the famous Newquay watersports centre offers heaps of different activities for families, individuals and couples.

Wonderful views and beautiful clean beach. You do have to work to get there though, either a steep slope or steps. You also need to be cautious when exploring round the cliffs as the tide can quickly cut you off (but the life guards are vigilant). At low tide you can walk right across from the harbour.

Amazing views and a lovely clean beach. The steps were very tiring after a full day of fun, but still worth it. Also nice cafe on the beach for ice creams and snacks etc. The long sand and large shallow waters are great for families with younger children.

Amazing beach, when the tide is out, all five beaches join up and become one! A really lovely walk and the scenery is breathtaking.
