the best beach in my opinion in Newquay, at low tide you are in the middle of all the bay beaches,so can walk left to the town or right, up to Porth. good access with the steps or the sloping road, fine sand, and if the emmits take their rubbish home or to the bins with them, then its always a clean... This is a lovely beach, gorgeous views from the top. It's a long walk down to the beach so even longer walking back up with two kids and a pram but overall that didn't dampen the experience as the beach is just lovely

Stayed in incredible apartments overlooking a beautiful bay packed with surfers and young kids enjoying fun on the beach and in the sea. Beach cafe and restaurant here too and handy for all other Newquay attractions. As the beach is private, the atmosphere is very safe and friendly.

We did some body boarding on this beach over the weekend and had great fun. However it can get quite busy when the sun is out! Which I think is typical for most UK beaches! Beware that they steps are steep to this beach so not ideal for the less abled.

Brilliant sand, sea and some surf. Only thing I didn't like was the wind but apart from that when the sun came out it was beautiful with plenty of bays to walk to. The on beach restaurant / bar is a very nice place to go to watch the surfers try their best to stay on their boards. Very good... More

Low tide and sunset, a perfect time to visit for a meal at Breaks. Easy to arrive, but more demanding to leave by either the steps or the long, more gradual road climb. No parking , except for loading and local workers halfway down. Great views across to the peninsula

Walking around Newquay and we walked from the city downtown until this beach. We found this lovely place.
