Came early in the year just as they opened! As a 25 year old guy it was interested and fun even for me so I can imagine children will absolutely love this attraction!

How great to be escorted round the exhibits with a "real" pirate. They stayed in character the whole time and were more than able to handle the random comments that the children called out! Lots of fun and my daughter was thrilled to see some information about our privateer ancestor Alexander Selkirk - we don't see him in museums very... More

My son and I visited today. A very informative tour. My son absolutely loved it. The actors were great. There is a scary bit. Some children were really afraid to go through. Before you enter it, you have a choice of a different way. You are asked to choose which way you want to go. Do it then as there... More

We went as my friends son was keen to go there whilst we all were on a short break in Newquay. We were concerned about no rest for my friend's other son who is disabled and cannot walk for too long, the staff were so accommodating to this and provided us with a folding chair for him to use during... My family and I visited in August. The staff were lovely, the actors were great and the sets were fantastic. The actors really put on a great show, very authentic. Not just for the kids my husband and I enjoyed it too. One part of the show was quite scary but this added to the excitement and my 5 year... More

We had previously been to the Pirates quest when it was previously Tunnels Through Time. We booked onto a tour and we're pleased to find that as well as us four there were only four other adults and one child on the tour. This allowed ample time for each child or adult to get involved or interact with the tour... More

Wow! Our son really enjoyed this visit. Would highly recommend. The pirate characters were really entertaining. They put so much passion into their roles that you could see they loved telling the stories and histories regarding pirates in Cornwall. Some bits were a little bit scary for my son but most children would love this. It takes about 30 -... More

As our daughter is currently mad for Captain Jack Sparrow (even though she is five!) we thought this place would be good for a visit. We booked ahead online which saved us a bit on the costs thankfully. Make sure you arrive early as the parking nearby in August is insanely busy and not cheap either. By the time we... More

We stayed in St Issey in the last week August and the weather was pretty grim, just before we came on holiday I frantically researched rainy day activities in Northern Cornwall, and this had some good reviews. My husband and I went with two seven year olds and they had a great time. The ‘Pirates’ take you through different sets... More
