A brilliant little attraction that deserves greater recognition. A peaceful setting combined with lots to see and do make this a worthwhile visit for folk young and old. The cafe sells lots of homemade and locally sourced products. The staff are very friendly and make everybody feel very welcome. Well worth a visit.

We've just got back from Cornwall for a short family break and with a 21month old it's always fun to try and find things that we and them would enjoy! Lappa Valley was great and we all thoroughly enjoyed the day from arriving at the ticket office and getting the train up to the attractions or trying to get the... More

My 2 1/2 year old son loves Thomas the Tank Engine and when we saw the flyer with the play areas and all for a single price (adults only as under 3 go free) we decided to plan a visit. My son ran around all day, except when sat on the trains, until he dropped and had to have an... More

We visited with our 21 month old toddler and we loved it. Lots for him to do and even went on boating lake. Food was lovely in the cafe and all the staff are friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend this place to any family's.

A return visit with the grandchildren, now a bit older than before, and they loved Lappa Valley and all it offers even more. Each of the trains had to be ridden more than once, the maze still provides great fun and laughter and the canoes are brilliant, made even better with the sun shine.

We have a 2 1/2 year old boy who loves trains so when we found the leaflet for Lappa Valley in our hotel we decided to take a risk and visit. We arrived at 10 and got the first train of the day into the park. Our son loved the mini train carriages and station. The park was clean and... More

We paid one admission price then everything else was included in the admission price, except for the restaurant. Steam train took us from the entrance to the park, there were another two train rides inside the park, plus boating lake, wildlife pond, crazy golf, play park for the children. Nice restaurant, good food, friendly helpful waitresses. Plenty of benches about... More

It was great for the children to go on the train and there is a play park, crazy golf and boating. The electric cars were a bit expensive because one go is not enough and if you've got more than one child it can rack up the costs. Similarly with the tiny train - short and pricey. My husband was... Thanks for the feedback and glad you enjoyed your visit. However I am unclear as to how LVR is "not as advertised" - we advertise 3 railways, boating, crazy golf, brick path maze and many play areas. The electric cars are the only extra charge on site (which we make clear) and contrary to what you imply there is no... More
