Our 4 year old grandson was in his element from the time we arrived on a lovely sunny day. Fascinated with the steam train ride to the main attraction area - all as described in their website. Numerous train rides later, and a bite in the reasonably priced cafe, one tired lad headed back to the base station. Definitely family... More

I visited with my family during our holiday to Cornwall and am afraid I can't say that it was as good as others seem to report. My kids are five and 18 months and to be fair both enjoyed themselves. That said they enjoy themselves at our local park so that's not quite the seal of approval it appears to... More

Good value for whole family. Reasonably priced food. Grandchildren loved the variety of trains. Would not have been great on a wet day however as indoor facilities not great.

£37 for a family of 4. Still not convinced if it's a good value day out particularly as many attractions in Cornwall offer 7 days for the price of 1: Dairyland, Flambards, Newquay Zoo etc. It's advertised as 3 trains but I'd argue it's 2. The one in the middle of the park holds 12 people who sit back to... More

We took our toddler here and he absolutely loved it - totally ran himself into the ground charging around. The attractions themselves are nothing extraordinary, just parks, swings, peddle cars, canoes and ride-on railways, but they're perfect for very young children (between 2 and 6 I'd say - older children might be less impressed) There was a really nice feel... Great day out with our 2 & 4 year olds well entertained. Trains fantastic and play area brilliant. Canoes were a favourite though. We went for opening time and avoided the worst of the queues and left before most so did have to queue for the train back to car park.

I have Visited Lappa valley many times before and the kids always love it . They always get really excited before because they know that they have to catch the train to loads of fun ! When they reach the valley they head straight towards the boats and love paddling in the lake . They also have a mini golf... More

Slightly put off by large queue on arrival but staff were friendly and apologetic and got us moving as soon as they could. Bit of a squeeze with two adults a four yr old 3 month old and buggy but a fun journey up to main site by steam train. Lots to do for whole day great play facilities alongside... More
