Steam train ride to site, then loads of free activities, kayaks, crazy golf, playgrounds etc. Take a picnic in disposable bags as nowhere to store coolbags and café has limited menu. Don't forget the suncream either if its hot as it's easy to forget while kayaking on the lake. The kids love it here.

What great value and such a change from the high tech that seems to abound these days. Kids of all ages were having a whale of a time and could go on all the rides and other activities for no extra fee, only a small fee for the canoes.Great value and the maze was busy with kids trying to get... Recently visited whilst on our holidays to Newquay and both my children loved it. I have two children one aged 2 and the other 6. Little one loved the trains and my older one loved the canoeing. Loved the fact that once paid there were no other cost involved. Plenty for the kids to play on and we all thoroughly... More

Easy to find being well sign posted from the main Newquay road. Our visit on the penultimate day of the season was a pleasant experience. My young grandson enjoyed the rides on the trains although a little young for the other activities available I could see that what is there is more suited to children aged 3yrs to maybe 10... More

Living in Cornwall and having a toddler we have visited Lappa a couple times this year! My son loves trains and each visit here has been a real treat for him! Lots if train rides, open spaces, boating, parks and indoor play area! Reasonable prices in the shop and cafe (although we took a packed lunch) and enjoyed in the... More

I recently visited the railway and paid £38 for the family to enter. After waiting 30 minutes for the train to take us from the ticket office to the main area, I was disappointed by the lack of attractions and after a couple of goes on the small train and the canoe lake the only thing remaining was a play... Thanks for the feedback and I note your comments that whilst you felt LVR was nice it is over-priced. You mention a few goes on the small train but do not mention the other (third) railway or the crazy golf or indoor play carriages for the younger children. I believe that our pricing is good value for a half-day visit... More

A nice day out. The little train ride to the main area was nice. It's a bit tired and run down in places. We have been to better places for the same value for money.

Thanks for the feedback and that you had a nice day out. We try to keep our prices competitive with other venues where the average visit time is around 4 hours, and we do receive a lot of comments about our 'all-inclusive' charge which is not the case at many other attractions. More
