We found this place by accident, what a great little place, there is a park for children to play on while you wait for the train, then a little steam train arrives everyone hops on and it takes you along the track where you disembark and there is an adverture park, There are boats, crazy golf, a park, a large... Took our 2year old here while on holiday and he loved it. It is geared up for under 8 year olds. Three mini engines for the train fanatics. You can pay 50pence on the day which gives you another visit within a week. We spent a happy three hours and our little one loved it

I would agree with some of the other reviews regarding the marketing material. That said, we had a fun day out with our three year old. The play areas were fine for her age, but I can imagine older kids getting bored quickly. The maze wasn't really a maze. The boating lake was fun with friendly staff throughout. Not in... More

The weather wasn't great but we decided to carry on with our plans to Lappa Valley. We took a train to the East Wheel Rose station which was drive by a lovely driver. The scenery is amazing. The engine house has to be one of the most beautiful I have seen and there is lots of information about it. There... More

We came here for a day out with our 2 year old son and were not dissapointed. There are 3 trains to ride on and once you are at the valley there is a boating lake, a crazy golf course, ride on tractors, indoor play, a lovely tea room and two good size playgrounds. We were lucky as we went... More

Really brilliant day out, we took our 5 and 6 year old old boys. You travel on a steam train to their play area, we played crazy golf, took a boat on the lake, had several goes on the minature train and played for a long time on the indoor and outdoor play area. The play areas (both indoors and... More

Visited today, 3 adults and a 3 year old. Beautiful weather. Was wonderfully clean and tidy. I like the fact you can bring dogs although we do not have one, dogs are part of the family! Little one wasn't sure about the steam train but enjoyed the small woodland one-i did too! Nice, well maintained play areas and grounds. Great... More
