An excellent beach you have to climb down steps to get there but the view from above is excellent lots of surfer even in the winter months when we went I am sure this beach and area is alive with activity in the summer months.

I have seen this on TV programmes in the past but to see it for real it is beatiful we viewed it from the top of cliff road as you have to go down steps to get to the beach but it was great and full of surfers Ben in winter I am sure it would be lovely to see... More

Fistral beach is a beautiful sweeping crescent of soft sand It is a surfers paradise where surfers visit to compete in competitions. It is accessable through the sand dunes which are relatively easy to pass through it is next to the golf course. Unlike Great Western beach which is also lovely but you need to walk down a steep slope... More

This is the first beach I ever fell in love with and even though they gave built a biggish complex on the north end it still remains beautifully unspoiled. We had a pizza in the restaurant within the complex and it was a great experience. Good friendly staff, sea views, fresh pizza and good music. We stayed for a couple... More

Well known gorgeous beach - popular with surfers but also good if you like a bit of rock climbing and rock pooling with little ones!

By far the best beach in the area clean well kept and a great fish restaurant. Great surfing in a few weeks when the wind slows up a bit.

It's become a bit of a yearly thing to visit here to go surfing, and as an amateur surfer it is really good. Decent size waves, and a long open clean beach! Can get pretty busy during the high season like when the boardmasters is on, but other than that, great place!

Lovely beach but it was busy, even in February so I imagine it would be packed on a nice day. Car parking is free for the first hour but it is not very big so again parking might be an issue in the summer. The access road down to the beach is a bit of a nightmare with cars parked... More
