Good mix of surfers and families, also good amenities, with showers, bars and take aways. Water was super clean and is very safe with many lifeguards

Fistral beach is a nice UK beach with a few places to eat, shops and with the opportunity to take a surfing lesson. Take a surfing lesson at Fistral beach and you will have a great surfing experience!

We arrived at what could be described as a building site,no access for disabled people onto beach so we left.we received £100 parking ticket (reduced to £60 if paid within 15 days) for our 37minute look at a dismal parking/access arrangement. This is disgusting.Avoid.

We bought a dingy and hired wetsuits and had the best afternoon in the sea. The waves are fierce and just brilliant. Can't wait to go back and learn how to surf this time! Was extremely safe, the coastal guards were professional and kept a good eye on everything. Definitely the best sea place in Newquay!

Went to see what all the fuss was about, beach was stunning although it is clearly more ideal for surfers and not swimming, sand very gritty but clean, we enjoyed sitting and watching the surfers, lifeguards had a job on their hands as people kept trying to swim in the surfers area - very silly ignoring their advice. Well worth... More
