Fistral beach is probably one of the most beautiful beaches I've visited. It was clean, beautiful walks both along the cliff top and along the beach. Some great places to eat at both ends of the beach. We stayed in an apartment about 5 mins walk from Fistral beach so it was within great walking distance. I imagine coming in... More

Fistral beach is one of the great beaches--easy parking -friendly lifeguards great surfing and body boarding but unfortunately the food and snack complex appears to have been taken over by the Rick Stein empire and prices are rising. there is only the top price ice creams available and for a tiny scoop of ice cream the charge is £2 unfortunately... We took a detour on our way to Land's End to visit Newquay and it was well worth it, lovely golden beach which our 2 dogs loved exploring as it was out of season so dogs were allowed, The town has loads of surf type shops but plenty of food outlets and bars. We will return some day

Great to watch the surfers here - lovely beach - plenty of room for children to play. Nice cafe and toilets there too.

We went here as a family in April. It is not the best beach in Newquay. However the shops are good. Also the port is good to watch when the fishing boats come in. Try Rowes for pasties and the amazing cake shop next door. Can highly recommend the malteaser slices and cheesecakes and apple turnovers. As tried by kids... More
