Nice walk from town to headland (not too strenuous!) With a bench at the end to relax and take in the superb scenery

This beach is just beautiful. Especially when the weather nice. Lots of surfers in the sea. Not great for parking, but if you park just away from the beach and walk in your fine. Love this place !

I know this is perhaps one of Newquay's and indeed Cornwall's most famous beaches, and justifiably so. This is exactly what surfers come to this part of England for, and even on a quiet day in May, there are surfers enjoying the waves. It also happens to be a very nice beach in its own right on the West side... More

1. Don't use the car park if at all possible, don't even drive in and out without parking as you will be expected to pay for the privilege. If you don't pay you will be sent a £100 charge in the post. 2. Note the exact time that you enter the car park, make sure that your clock is accurate.... More

We stopped off here to grab some lunch and watch the surfers, paid for the parking as good tourists, but still got a £100 fine 2 weeks later. Shameful! The businesses at the beach should get a grip and get rid of Parking Eye.

Nice beach, lots to do and usually packed with people. Nice to lay in the sun. Watch out for Jelly Fish.

Great beach with good supervision from life guards. Plenty of rock pools for children to explore and hundreds of pretty shells. Lots of steps to get up from the beach if you walk all the way along.
