I had not looked at the website, just seen that there was an art gallery in Falmouth and as we were staying near there we thought we'd pop in and have a look. The gallery itself is very small, with few pictures on display and those that were were related to a special exhibition on crime writing and solving, so... More

Whether you are an art enthusiast or this is the first time you've considered entering an art gallery, or for anyone in between, this is the place to go even if it's not raining.. Free, with disabled access and very child friendly. If you are lucky enough to be there before 20 June 2015, you will see a stunning selection... More

I recently went to Kirsty Fergusson's book signing of her revised edition of Slow Travel Cornwall (Winner Best Guidebook of the Year British Guild of Travel Writers) This is a great venue for such an event because the exhibitions are amazing. Currently some of Patric Woodruffe's work is on show and his art is mind blowing. Google him and find... More

Art to make you think and discuss from tissue paper to the weird and wonderful. Even a lift to the upper floors for disabled viewers.

Quirky and varied ...just delightful. From my favourite (Sliding Cat) to Matisse and Tuke, everything is well displayed and well chosen. One of my all time favourite galleries. Great shop too.

Brilliant exhibition with accompanying book about the architectural detailing and development of a very interesting project. Book still available. Exhibition now finished.

Only the second day of this exhibition. Beautiful sunny early spring day and happened on this display of surrealist art from a local artist. Wacky but fun pictures of all sorts of topics. Do pay it a visit if you are in the area. http://www.falmouthartgallery.com/Exhibitions/2015/738~The_World_of_Woodroffe

Having studied the web site I made a special effort to go and see this gallery only to find just a very few, mostly modern pictures on display. When I enquired about the collection I was told there isn't room to display it but there was an offer to see if a particular picture could be found for me to... More
