It is hard to write a review about a boat trip when the main thing is the view really (which is stunning by the way) The cost was very fair indeed, the boat (Princessa) was in good shape, all to often pleasure boats are run down and rusty, not the case here, clean and tidy with good paint etc, very... Went on a trip with this business and have to say what a pleasure. Having looked at prices for trips and realising how expensive others were for what you got we decided to go on this trip to the Helford. The family who run this are local Falmouth people whose knowledge is excellent and nothing was too much trouble as... More

Bought a " Mussel ticket" which for a set price £18 allows you to park/ride and float, for a day. Parked our car down by the Wharf (free) and caught shuttle bus to the Prince of Wales Pier. Then caught small ferry sailing up to Truro. A rain shower for the first 20 minutes then blue sky. We crossed over... More

We visited Falmouth this week and had varied weather from, torrential rain to brilliant sunshine. On the sunny day we decided to risk a boat trip and were extremely glad we did, we went on the princess down the river fal. It was a lovely two hour trip with commentary by the captain who pointed out all the places of interested... More

Glorious views whilst relaxing, this would be a very well spent few hours of anyone's holiday or a day off work, when you can forget your worries with interesting commentary that were just the snippets of information that you want as you enjoy over two hours spent passing the Cornish coastline with views from the sea such as Pendennis Castle.... We took the two hour trip up the Helford river. The boat had refreshments and running commentry on points of interest. A pleasant way to spend two hours and good value for money. You do get to see a reasonable amount in the two hours and the commentry was informative. It wasnt the most sunny of days but was still... More

I often come to Cornwall and have travelled form Truro to St Mawes on an Enterprise Ferry which my family really enjoyed and we had an oyster card which made it really good value because we could visit the St Mawes Castle. So took the train to Falmouth for a trip to the Helford River on board what seemed to... More

A peaceful way to spend the day, the commentary was well informed and the sun shone. It was great being able to get tea and coffee and sit and watch the world go by
