We booked for the two hour trip, due to a very squally day we were not able to take the full tour - we were promptly offered a full refund and had the alternative explained clearly to us. we went for it anyway, and the wind, rain and waves added to the thrill! Very well taken care of, informative captain,... More

I totally understood that there was a chance that we wouldn't see any wildlife at all - the staff and the website are very honest about this - so I was mostly just looking forward to a chance to get out on the sea! We were kitted out by a very friendly woman who repeated that there was always a... More

My wife and I went on this trip in June as part of our annual Kernow holiday. The booking online was easy and painless. It is true, the wildlife can not appear at the wave of a magic wand, but even so the trip was most enjoyable. I actually found the description of the boats and lighthouses etc....very informative. And... More

I, like other reviewers feel that describing this as a Sea Safari fails to correctly manage expectations. Seeing a gannet, shag, cormorant and guillemot did not seem to be an unusual experience looking at other recent reviews. Some real honesty in sharing recent sightings information to help manage expectations and maybe a name change would help enormously. I do appreciate... More

I am sorry you felt that way, as with any trip as explained very clearly we cover the areas we would be expecting to see the varied wildlife that the waters surrounding Falmouth have to offer, but there are times when it is not present. If you have time to look at our Facebook page you will see we have... More

Having done a few of these type of trips I do realise and fully subscribe to the view about local wildlife and the unpredictable nature of them. This was by no means the worst trip I've been on and by no means the best - it was kind of middle of the road. Usually these trips are made by sightings... More

I realise there isn't any guarantees when it comes to animals but it's advertised as a sea safari. I am heading for a career in marine biology so a 'dolphin and Whale watching' experience was bought for me. In total, we spent £200 and 18 hours travel to get there and we ended up seeing a few birds. The boat... More

The only wildlife I saw in two hours was one sleeping seal. I have never been on a "wildlife trip" before where the wildlife is so sparse! The commentary covered the harbour, castles and landmarks, and helicopter so if you were interested in these wider issues maybe it is fine but as a "wildlife trip" I found it disappointing. Perhaps... More

Unfortunately we have no control over the wildlife. We are always very honest about our sightings. There are trips that take place and the wildlife is very sparce so we draw on other information and things of interest the area has to offer. If you have the opportunity please take a look at pictures on our Facebook page. More

Took a 1pm sailing and were very fortunate to have great weather. The boat takes a maximum of 12 passengers. Windproof coats and life jackets were provided as necessary. After leaving the pontoon the skipper provided an informative commentary about the port history and various boats in on the day before we headed at speed to the St Mawes side... More

My wife and I had a great time yesterday on an Orca sea safari. Although the only wildlife was a wide selection of sea birds, it was great trip. After a cruise around Falmouth harbour, drooling at the superyachts, we headed across to. St. Mawes before taking a high speed and very exciting trip out to deeper water and across... More

This trip made my summer, I could not stop smiling all day. It was exhilarating to be on the RIB, and the Captain took us out to try and see wildlife, he gave a very interesting commentary. It would still have been fantastic if we had not seen Dolphins, but we were lucky enough to be honoured, and the Captains... More
