Located at the westernmost point of Cornwall, you can appreciate fully how the relationship between land and sea is constantly changing.Parking your car is the only thing you have to pay for, and you can then walk the clifftops to see how Cornwall changes from season to season, or contemplate the thousands of miles of the Atlantic Ocean which begin at the First and Last Point. No visit is complete without having your picture taken at the famous land's end signpost. Then do a spot of souvenir shopping at the West Country Shopping Village, before taking time out to relax in the Land's End Bar and Restaurant. When it comes to finding things to do in Cornwall, the very tip of the county makes a great starting point for discovering all the places to visit. « less

Been loads of times before for the great views, went last week & discovered car park is now £5.00, total rip off! The whole place is just run as a money grabbing exercise. We drove to Sennen cove, paid £2 to park there & walked the great coastpath over to Lands End & back.

Commercialised, tacky. Like other reviewers I had long wanted to go. Had heard about the £5 carpark charge, but that's just about acceptable. To get to the sea had to walk through 'attractions' and food place, one selling Chicago town pizza as seen on TV for extortionate prices, not that would buy it anyway! Smell of fried food instead of... More

Just another tourist attraction. Such a shame. If only English Heritage or National Trust owned it. As it is, it's just spend spend spend your money here, and that is after you've paid a Fiver to park. A great shame. What got disappointed me the most was the fact I had wanted to go to Lands End for almost 15... More

Dear Tony R, Thank you for your review. Firstly, in response to your comment regarding the £5 parking charge; I must reiterate that we do our utmost to ensure our pricing (including food/drink and attractions, as well as parking) is comparable with other tourist attractions in the local area. It is also worth noting that money generated from the £5... More

We just came back from holidays near Sennen and Land's End for us was one of the top attractions. The scenic view is stunning at any weather. Hundreds of miles of walking around or along the coastline. We liked the fact that the infrastructure does not interfere with nature. It offers some entertainment and refreshments for those who feel up... More

We had read about the place before we visited but I did not expect to find the area rather spoiled by commercialism. We did pay the £5 to park and then we decided to explore the clifftop. We sat on the benches there, enjoying the sea-view. We went to see the 3D film and the King Arthur experience. The film... More

West Cornwall has the best scenery ever but Land's End or 'the experience' looks like a blot on the landscape. Yes people want to visit it and we were two of those visitors but never again! We walked from Sennen, the walk had so many people on it we could hardly get along, it was like a pilgrimage. We didn't... More

Dear Jeannine d, Thank you for your review. I notice you visited Land’s End during August last year; naturally, with the school holidays in full swing during this period, Land’s End is at its busiest. The costal walk from Sennen to Land’s End and the information boards that go with are extremely popular, especially during peak season. Nonetheless, months outside... More

Don't bother. I had very fond childhood memories of lands end, the views, the signpost, a nice Cornish ice cream. But no a very greedy owner an £5 to park a car for even ten minutes - won't be back

Land's End should be an outstanding natural beauty spot - it needs nothing more than what nature had provided. It definitely does not need an amusement park. But greed won out and what you get is a cluster of ugly buildings selling overpriced tatty souvenirs, poor quality food and tacky "Attractions" designed to separate the tourist from their money (including... Plenty to do for families, with several attractions on site, including a 4D cinema attraction, with our youngster though was brilliant, even though the seats threw her about. She also enjoyed the mirror maze and the small animal farm. Particually enjoyed the wildlife both in the sea and the air. Food and drink could be better and car parking charge... More
