Located at the westernmost point of Cornwall, you can appreciate fully how the relationship between land and sea is constantly changing.Parking your car is the only thing you have to pay for, and you can then walk the clifftops to see how Cornwall changes from season to season, or contemplate the thousands of miles of the Atlantic Ocean which begin at the First and Last Point. No visit is complete without having your picture taken at the famous land's end signpost. Then do a spot of souvenir shopping at the West Country Shopping Village, before taking time out to relax in the Land's End Bar and Restaurant. When it comes to finding things to do in Cornwall, the very tip of the county makes a great starting point for discovering all the places to visit. « less

Well this is the first time I have visited Lands End. I pictured it to be a tranquil peaceful place with the iconic marker post for photographs. Unfortunately the truth is that Cornwall Council has sold out to commercialisation allowing the most tacky venue you will ever experience in your life. Lands End has been built to try and exhort... This is an astounding area of our country - full of history, beauty and character. This is not captured by this shabby tourist attraction. Visiting with 4 girls between 5 and 15 on a gorgeous sunny day it did little to transfer the true meaning of Cornwall other than touching on King Arthur and Cornish Pasties. Opening times of 'attractions'... More

The coastline is beautiful however you will be charged £6 to park to see it, £25 for a family pass to take part in the activities (other than walking around and shopping), £3 to have your face painted, £3.75 for a pasty... And to top if off £10 to have your photograph taken by the Lands End signpost! Do your... More

So this is a travesty of a tourist location. Everything costs extra and is nothing to do with the location. A 4D cinema? er great. A Farm? er nice. A Dooughnut? er very local... Basically if you want to go to ands End for the views and walks its worth spending the £6 to park in the car park (yes... More

Yes, £6 to park. For that price I would expect tarmac with drainage, but I guess the muddied clay dirt just adds to the charm. I assume the money goes somewhere worthwhile, but it's certainly not reinvested in the facilities.

Glad we went but £6 to park!!!! We got a family ticket so the boys could do everything on site so would of been nice to have had the £6 discount from our tickets. I understand the area is managed and keep clean and tidy so a small cost is needed to cover this but felt it a joke to... More

Revisited today and was left feeling a little flat. The 4D film was great as was Arthurs Quest the view was spectacular especially after it being a dull morning and then the sun coming out. We missed the lifeboat experience and noticed the entrance price has not been reduced even though an attraction is missing. Had over priced coffee from... More

Went out of our way to visit while camping in Cornwall and wished we hadn't bothered the landmark has all the charm of a really bad service station everything seemed overly commercialised and over priced we left after half an hour. we did buy postcards at the shop and the staff were really friendly its just a shame this famous... Paid £6 to park, but for folk walk or take the bus, it's free entry to this attraction. It was a busy day there and there was plenty to keep us busy for a few hours. The scenery was lovely, a clear day, blue sky and you could even see out as far as Scilly. Food and drink, like any... More

Dear L V, Thank you very much for your feedback. I am thrilled to hear that you and your family found “plenty to keep your busy” at the westernmost point of Cornwall and England; particularly that you enjoyed the zip-wire in the children’s play area. It is also great to learn that you enjoyed the many dimensions of Land’s End;... More

We visited in the early evening so only had to pay £3 to park and all the attractions/shops were shut, which was perfect for us as we were only there to see Lands End. It really is worth a visit and is truly stunning to see (my teenage son would disagree with this and spent his time seeing how many... More

Dear Smileymileyme, Thank you for your review. I am delighted to hear that you enjoyed ‘natural’ Land’s End during your recent visit; it is great to learn that you and your family found time to enjoy the breath-taking scenery and stunning backdrop. Additionally, it is fantastic to learn that you experienced good value for money, particularly with the car park.... More
