Located at the westernmost point of Cornwall, you can appreciate fully how the relationship between land and sea is constantly changing.Parking your car is the only thing you have to pay for, and you can then walk the clifftops to see how Cornwall changes from season to season, or contemplate the thousands of miles of the Atlantic Ocean which begin at the First and Last Point. No visit is complete without having your picture taken at the famous land's end signpost. Then do a spot of souvenir shopping at the West Country Shopping Village, before taking time out to relax in the Land's End Bar and Restaurant. When it comes to finding things to do in Cornwall, the very tip of the county makes a great starting point for discovering all the places to visit. « less

Over the years this place of interest has been made into no more than a disney attraction and commursalised to squeeze all who visits .On arrival we had to drive through a barrier and cough up £6 to park the car. Once parked we walked around and visited all areas of the landmark. We stopped for a cup of coffee... More

We visited Land's End to greet some end to end cyclists who were finishing that day. Whilst we didn't see inside any of the attractions on site, we did very much appreciate the caring attitude of the staff towards our cyclists and the others that finished on the same day. They couldn't have been more helpful, or more concerned to... More

We parked at Sennen Cove and walked across the cliff tops on the well marked out path to Lands End. This saved us the greedy £6.00 parking fee which is charged at Lands End. When we reached Lands End, which took about 3/4 hour, we were able to miss out the horribly commercialised areas and instead focus on the amazing... More

Save yourself £6, park at Sennen Cove and take the costal walk to Lands End. Lands End is beautiful as a place, Lands End the Landmark attraction is poor (but most people, with us aren't going for that reason!).

We visited Land's End (5 adults, one of them elderly) with great excitement and high expectations for a good day out. We travelled a reasonable distance down Cornwall to get there, but as soon as we arrived we could tell it was not quite what we had hoped for. We were expecting to be able to spend a reasonable amount... More

I fully enjoyed a day over there . Great views and green environment. Land's End is not to far away from cities like St.Ives or Penzance, about 30 mins by a car.

My husband had last visited Lands End as a young boy and the only thing there apart from the view was a signpost so we just had to visit being only a couple of hours away. Completely different from then but that was to be expected. Now there is a hotel, cinema, shops and of course the signpost though you... More

Dear bacardi1, Thank you for your review. I am absolutely delighted to hear that you experienced and enjoyed both the commercial and natural aspects of Land’s End. It is particularly refreshing to hear that you felt commercialisation and naturalism combined did not in any way detract from your enjoyment. To provide you with a little background information on the commercialisation... More

Land's End is an iconic part of the UK landscape and should reflect its remote, natural and wild location. Sadly, it does not. If you arrive by car you'll be stung for a £6 parking fee - even if you only want to visit for a few moments. You'll be greeted by a bland and ugly collection of buildings -... More

While staying in Cornwall we thought that we would have a bit of an adventure as three generations in our party had never been to Lands End. We were well treceived and shown parking by some very pleasant people. the first signs were encouraging my Grandson and I went in the King Arthur quest with the help of a very... More

Visited here one summer evening at 5pm and everything was packed up! Like a ghost town! It did mean that we could take photos at the signpost rather than have a professional photo taken. Land's End is beautiful, something you just do once in your life especially if you are from the UK. Just John O'Groats to do next!

Dear JessManchester, Thank you for your review. I am absolutely delighted to learn that you feel Land’s End is “beautiful” and a “must do”. The stunning ocean views and 100 acres of natural landscape demonstrate perfectly why this area has been recognised as an ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’. If you are presented with the opportunity to return, I would... More
