Boating on the river or just walking with and ice cream, along the Roman Walls, through the park and down to the river. Chester fabulous. We had a picnic from M&S in the amphitheater. Simple fun and got to watch the Centurian.

Lots of seats available to just sit and take in the lovely view. Buy some bread and feed the ducks and swans -great fun. You can buy food and ice cream locally and take rides on the riverboat down the dee. Very nice on a sunny day and there is a great park by the bridge so take a picnic... More

Lovely to relax by the river - plenty to see, do and eat! And a walk along the Walls from the river into the City Centre and great shopping is a "must do".

Walked alongside the river dee, very scenic. Boat trips and pedalos, we did not go on these but looked ok.

Lovely quiet and beautiful walk along river bank past rowing club. Nothing to dislike if you like walking, park car in city car park as there are few parking spaces in Chester.
