A lovely place to sit and relax on a summers day. Hire a boat or take a cruise and enjoy the river. Great memories .

We had a wander down and we weren't disappointed the walk was very enjoyable with friendly encounters from walkers. We shall get a river trip next time as I'm told they are well worth it

Great place to eat your chips or sandwiches! Recommend going to watch the annual fun boat race not sure when its on (early summer I thinking) or just going for a sunday afternoon walk the dinner off, through the fields with the wild horse's (be careful feeding them they can get a bit boisterous!) The river is easy walking from the town centre. Lots I places to eat on the way. It's well looked after and fairly clean. Nice building to see and plenty of ducks and swans.

We started our walk from Grosvenor Park which has fine river views. We carried on across the Queens Park Suspension Bridge and turned right following the river downstream to Chester - Grosvenor road Bridge. Then we followed the river with the racecourse on the right until we met the canal and followed the wall back to the City Centre.

A lovely spot for couples. Really beautiful to just sit and watch the boats go by and sit on the benches in the sun. Never taken a river tour on the Ferry but would like to.

Lovely boats which travel along the river with commentary. See the local architecture as you travel on this beautiful river and hear of its history.

We walked along beside the river Dee, but did not go on any boat tour being a cold day, Nevertheless we enjoyed the views and the architecture. A pretty walk to take.
