We started our walk from Grosvenor Park which has fine river views. We carried on across the Queens Park Suspension Bridge and turned right following the river downstream to Chester - Grosvenor road Bridge. Then we followed the river with the racecourse on the right until we met the canal and followed the wall back to the City Centre.

A lovely spot for couples. Really beautiful to just sit and watch the boats go by and sit on the benches in the sun. Never taken a river tour on the Ferry but would like to.

Lovely boats which travel along the river with commentary. See the local architecture as you travel on this beautiful river and hear of its history.

We walked along beside the river Dee, but did not go on any boat tour being a cold day, Nevertheless we enjoyed the views and the architecture. A pretty walk to take.

The River Dee is picturesque and runs through Chester. You can take a river cruise and have tea or coffee whilst taking in the views.

What better way to spend a sunday afternoon than taking a stroll along the river and stopping for coffee and cake. Lovely this time of year as not so busy but equally as lovely when bustling with people.
