Poor food

Over priced poor food. Wasn't expecting much but my ribs were like a boil in the bag jobby with sparse amount of BBQ sauce over it

We visitors this place as an experiment because it doesn't look the most appealing from the outside and we've seen it packed in the evenings and weekends. We were delighted - food deals were probably the best in Chester at £9 for two meals and two cocktails for £4.75! The milkshakes are to die for! (Not literally). The staff were... More

Busy place, lots of people, lots of beer glasses. Noisy pub fun atmosphere. If you are pub person, and like all of the above that’s the perfect place. Close to St Johns cathedral and Roman amphitheater- perfect for quick beer on summer day

We stayed in Chester times ago. This pub is really amazing, good music and modern style. Really close to the city centre :)

Was at Chester for 6 days on business and staying in the Central travelodge, after working late each day it was an easy option to pop into this place for a cheap meal and a drink. The meals were what you paid for and couldn't complain too much. The bouncers were absolutely vile and spoke to us like dirt and... More

Cocktails, music, dancing. What could you ask for? There are TVs here if you are interested. Be careful of the trek to the toilets, not for the faint hearted, stairs!! But definitely go again

Myself and a couple of friends stopped in for a quick pint at lunchtime on a Thursday; no worries... The beer was very expensive and undrinkable so we asked for another pint each (we were one mouthful into it...) and the girl behind the bar was lovely but had to ask the "manager" at the end of the bar for... Group of 14 people, lovely lunch out, nothing was a problem, made very welcome by staff, food was lovely, we ordered mainly fish and chips off the two for £9 offer! Puddings were good sizes for two £3.50! Food was a little slow coming out to us but we were a large group plus other people in pub too. We... More
