This was interesting in some ways. Not particularly well organised and signed. I thought the price was exaggerated. Not so much to do

This museum is modern, and not very big - so your kids won't get bored! Ideal for any ages, and accessible. It is opposite Spud u like, where you can get a really good cup of tea and healthy snack. It has sounds and smells to accompany the trail, and a nice little shop at the end with kid safe... More

We visited during a weekend break and were not disappointed. It was interesting informative and atmospheric, with the opportunity to have a bit of fun at the end and a few photo opportunities. Really enjoyed it.

Was hesitant to go inside with it looking tiny from outside but it's quite deceptive. Really enjoyed all the open excavation s underground. Would visit again when I have more time

The children loved it and learned lots from the hands on exhibits. There was less to do for us grown ups but as we combined this with a walk around the wall and a trip to the Roman ampitheatre, we really managed to bring Roman history to life!

Whilst there are things that visitors can learn from visiting the Dewa Roman Experience, and some parts are well presented. However, some of the excavations, in particular, appear as though they are a "work in progress" and you are walking around on scaffolding, and looking at things which are unclear whether they were left by workmen, or are actually part... We saw the sign for this in passing and decided to go. It was fun and educational and had lots of hands on things for kids. The only thing I would mention is that the video presentation was not working and the only member of staff we ever saw was manning admissions and the gift shop. This would be a... More

Enjoyed our visit here today... I think children would be amazed by it...however I feel for adults it's slightly boring with not much to do.. we were the only people there so we did have a bit of fun with taking pictures... all in all quite expensive for what it is! But good fun!

We dived in here during a rainy visit to Chester. Thought the cost versus what was on offer was quite high. Having said that my children enjoyed the visit immensely

Although the leaflet says they offer something for all age groups I did feel that this visit must be very exciting for children and I believe that they actually do specialise in educational tours. I did find it interesting but children would have got far more out of all the hands on activities than I did. However the main reason... More
