The walls give you lots of good views around the city and of the River Dee. It is a good thing to do when you first arrive, to get your bearings

nothing to dislike, it was obvious Chester have integrating the walls and other historic structures into the planning and use of the city.

This was our first visit to Chester and decided to do the 2 mile city walk as it was a lovely sunny day, it takes roughly one hour but the paths can be a little uneven, lovely views as you walk round, you can see the canal, castle, and the racecourse plus other interesting points, would recommend.

Walked the whole length and breadth of the walls, nice day out on a sunny day. Finished off with a bottle of prosecco picnic.

The views are nice and the walk is interesting. You can view canal boats on the canal and watch them moving through the... More
