A sensational garden and wider grounds, with the (closed) castle/house, gatehouses, chapel, rare breeds, woods and paths. An idyllic day out for young and old, able-bodied and less so. Really beautiful gardens, with masses of flowers. The gardens are landscaped, not formal. Plants include both common and rare species. Unfortunately few are labelled, but if you like gardening, you'll find lots to enjoy here.
