We visited Sark from Guernsey on 24th June 2015. It was a beautiful sunny day and the crossing was perfect. On arrival we went on a 2 hour tour of the island in a carriage pulled by Tipsy with Ulli as our guide. Ulli was brilliant and gave us a detailed history of Sark and it's traditions and customs. Tipsy... More

The ferry dare and the cost of the carriage was considerable, but don't be put off by that. It's worth it. The guide was an excellent horse woman and she gave us much information. Beautiful views. The stop at the gardens is pricey, maybe a cup of coffee at the cafe would be a good alternative on that stop.

This is the very best way to tour around Sark. Our guide and driver, Megan, is a local woman just finished university, and she is an excellent source of local information. The cart was a little crowded for four adults, but we enjoyed every minute. The stops where we stepped out were on La Coupee, the very narrow and high... More

Our lovely German guide Ulli and her horse Tipsy provided us with a great trip around Sark. Ulli was very engaging and informative, she really made the trip interesting. It's a great way to find out the island's history and current affairs in a pleasant and relaxed setting.

A great way to see the Island . Well kept horses and an informative guide - so thanks to Darryl and Bob the Cob ! Very reasonable fare and by far the best way to see the island in a short space of time and learn about the traditions

Sark Island is probably not for everyone. The only motorized vehicles are up to a total of 100 tractors. Transportation is via horse-draw cart, bicycle, or feet. The tourist trade is very limited and the travel time via boat can be a bit. No cell phone or wifi (a plus in my opinion). I had a grand time. Loved the... More

A pleasant crossing by boat from St Peter Port took just under the hour. Our first visit to Sark was an absolute delight and allowing 10 am till 4.00 pm was not enough on a fine day. We opted for a walk up the hill to the action rather than join the tractor-driven land train which I believe costs £1.10.... More

Following our crossing from St Peters Port by boat we decided to take a tour of the Island of Sark by Horse and carriage. We taken around the Island by Chicco and his owner Michelle. This trip was everything you could hope for informative, humorous and beautiful. I would recommend. Initially the £15.00 per person required seemed a little pricey... More

Met the lovely Megan at the top of the hill on arriving off the 10am ferry from Guernsey. Megan gave us a guided tour of the island and was very entertaining. Would definitely recommend!
