The market mostly sells monkey hats and tat but there are some useful things on offer. There are multiple people who sell vinyl.

It's always fun to see what the local food and other producers have on offer. We enjoyed a sunny day and looking at all the stalls without a big obligation to buy. We parked at the Park and Ride and took the bus - much easier than trying to find parking in the crowded streets of Cambridge, particularly since it... More

This market is an iconic part of the Cambridge heritage. It is open every day until around 5pm (some stalls may close early). You can buy fruit and veg, sweets, clothes, fresh orange juice, craft things, food, and some more niche items. It is great to walk around even if you don't intend on buying anything.

Park in the nearby Lion Yard Car Park and walk down to the market square. Best on a Saturday with numerous stalls selling just about everything. Try an ostrich burger! If you get bored there's 100's of shops nearby plus countless coffee shops etc

Hand made food and coffee, souvenirs etc. Great little place in the heart of Cambridge. Good vibe, not that expensive. Well worth visiting

Lovely fruit and veg stalls and the fresh bread and buns are immense! Loads of different things to buy here but they are at Cambridge tourist prices. Definately worth a look as there are so many different things to buy.

Cambridge is quickly losing much of its character, with the chain stores to be found in any city pushing out the more characterful places but at least the market retains some individuality even if the stores flanking it have less than at one time.

There's nothing special about this market, it's the same as you can get anywhere in England, nice to have an occasional wonder round though. Can sometimes pick up a bargain

Well kept market with a large variety of stalls that will appeal to everyone. Good location to the city, with nearby shops and restaurants.

Nice market square with loads of stalls but nothing appeals THAT much to us as we live just outside of Cambridge
