The market has open air stalls of flowers, fruit, clothes, sweets, records, souvenirs and arts & crafts, old bric a brac and few places which cater for cuisines from around the world. I walked there briefly to see the atmosphere and I had a fresh fruit juice drink.

The market runs every day except Sundays and is a great place to purchase a little bit of everything. On Sundays, they have a food market with organic foods. There has been a market here since the Middle Ages. Although not a real large market, it is definitely worth going to if you are in Cambridge.

Just as any other market, Cambridge's has its own charm. Small, with various stalls, you could find there both italian food and old CDs, as well as some souvenirs and simple household stuff. It didn't take us much time to take a look at all the rows. Although we didn't buy anything, I'd still recommend visiting this place just for... More

Right in the centre of Cambridge you will find a really permanent (7 days a week) market. The stalls do change on different days .... so a tip ...... if you see something, buy it, because the stall may not be there if you come back on a different day. As a general rule the Saturday market is really full... More

Like all markets, there are the stalls with the bargain packs of socks and polyester knickers - but there are also some lovely flower stalls (especially on Sunday when you can buy locally-grown flowers); good vegetables; ostrich burgers (apparently v. healthy); and great second-hand books. There are cash machines at Marks and Spencer's, and Barclays, if you need to top... More
