You must see the River Cam. Hard to miss it. Weather permitting the punting is great as well. Fantastic scenery. Very relaxing and good stories as well.

Ahh I love the Cam, a brilliant place to sit in summer to watch the boats pass or the ducks and swans, you can also see some Cambridge University students row past. It is a beautiful river.

The river changes with the weather, the date and which part of it you are on. Up towards Granchester its wider, meandering with dirt banks and willows. A very bracing swim in warmer weather, the weeds will pull at your feet. In town, from water-level is the best way to see the colleges, but on weekends the river traffic jam... More

What a way to wile away a sunny afternoon than being punted along the river cam lazing in the arms of loved one whilst checking out the fabulous architecture of the surrounding campuses. The lush green lawns and the gentle lapping of the water against the sides of the boat has you truly luxuriating

I was surprised how small the river was, more of a large and sluggish canal. It was pretty, though, because of all the arched stone bridges. One of my favorite views of the river was from the 2 bridges on the back side of King's College and Clare College. It's probably also prettier in the spring with flowers and trees... More

Great to take stroll and river tour on Punt , the Bridges are amazing don't forget your camera. Punts were developed in medieval times to provide stable craft that could be used in areas of water too shallow for rowing conventional craft. One such area was the Fens, the marshy flatlands north of Cambridge, where punts were integral to local... More

As you might be aware, this city got its name from the river Cam. Be a tourist and enjoy beautiful summer and sceneries along the river while having punting tours!

The river Cam is a small but nice river who pass through the Backs of the main colleges...there are two small lagunas that are very nice and between them you can go punting, one of the major attractions of the river. In the north you can see a lot of rowing crews who train, while if you go towards Grantchester... More

On that river you will probably have a lot of fun if you decide to try it. I love punting and I claimed the boat trip on river Cam as the best in my live. Of course it´s not just about the river, but you can´t stay cold when you try the view at all the colleges of Cambridge university... More
