Punting with a champagne picnic

An absolute must when in Cambridge. Take your own food and drink and then get one of the experienced punters to take you up and down the river.

If you go to Cambridge you must go punting on the Cam River. You are "polled" down the river by young men, many are students, on small boats that hold about 8-9 people. You are given a narative on the history of the university as you pass through the campus on the river. Cost is about £18 per person. Might... More

What fun punting down the river cam. We were three generations and we each had a great time. Loads of pictures taken, tons of historical sites and super relaxing! There was also some great picnic spots along the walking path.

Had a wonderful trip on a punt on the river cam on Saturday. Our driver kit was very knowledgable about the surrounding scenery and also very competent punting us along the backs

Flows through the heart of Cambridge, perfect way to see it is from a punt of course! Nice few of the rear of many of the colleges.

Took a chauffeured punt along the Cam to see the Backs. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Cambridge.

If you go to Cambridge then you must try Punting. It's a really relaxing way to see this beautiful, historic city! But don't punt it yourself, get one of the lads to do it. Sit back, relax, chill and enjoy the scenery! 👍

The river adds real loveliness to Cambridge, but punting on the river is a really wonderful way to explore the beauty of the river and the city. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THE COMPANY CALLED 'Traditional Cambridge Tours'. While they gave us a decent price (10 GBP/pp), they were not well organized. Our 10:30 tour was 20 minutes late in...
