Go see this play! It is on from Monday to Saturday! Saw it in Guildford and it's brilliant! It's the gritty true story of the vet James Herriot made famous by the TV series of this name. Despite the pig on the poster the only actual animal is a Westie! The other animals are there ok because of very clever... More

Went to see Hetty Feather here with our children, fantastic show and very cleverly done. Liked the new look of the Arts reception area (we haven't been for a little while) but still horrendous queue for the loo, and toilet roll holder broken and hand dryer out of service. Went to buy a programme from the usherette but no she... More

the new entrance and bars mean you don't have to wait for a drink and it doesn't feel so old fashioned

Having been to the theatre for a number of years I was looking forward to seeing the Cambridge Footlights on Sunday. On arrival the theatre had clearly had a facelift with new glass doors , wood panelling inside, a new carpet and great drinking and bar area. Nothing in the auditorium itself but that is fine anyway.Sadly the show was not... More

We went to see Robert Powell play Poirot in Black Coffee, a new production of an Agatha Christie play only recently released by her estate. Great show and good to catch it locally before it heads to the West End. This is the first time we have seen the theatre since it had its extensive makeover at the end of... More

We have been to this theatre on a number of occasions and the quality of the shows are first class, often many of them are prior to a West End run, like The Duck House that we saw recently. Costs are better also although Cambridge hates motorists!

I have been coming to this theatre regularly for about 3 years. What is so appealing is the friendliness of the staff. It has been dogged by being so cramped, but having gone there last week the new bars and arrangement outside the auditorium have made it a fabulous venue in the heart of the city. Bang up to date... Went for the first time on Friday to see "Songbird". It was brilliant, look out for the lead, I am sure he will be famous ,he was so good, as were all the actors. The theatre is lovely.
