One of the best things about Cambridge - despite being owned by Cineworld. It is always my first choice for a film and the pre-filming drinks are essential. This is a formula that seriously works - great choice of film, great atmosphere and a great bar and cafe. Its a complete night out

Spent a delightful four hours sipping drinks and watching Hamlet streamed live from The Barbican - what better way to spend an evening?

We went to see the premier screening of The Wall, Pink Floyd, and this unique secret of a cinema made our evening perfect. An intimate venue which offers a small bar for pre drinks and snacks (drinks can be taken into the screening). Comfortable seating and all areas very clean. Very central location surrounded by good quality restaurants and bars.... More

MY wife and I went to a matinee performance at 1100 of "45 years " only to be told that the performance was only for "adults with babies" and the next performance would be at 1345, too late for us. There was no information on the cinema's website although I suspect that the cashier, who's first language was not English,... More

Had a great time here, the cinema was clean and very relaxing. Was good to take a glass of wine in and relax with friends... Maybe too comfy as I did doze !

I went by myself to watch a documentary as the rest of clan deem my tastes to boring! I was slightly concerned that I would look odd going to the cinema by myself, but the Arts made me feel much better. It is a lovely small cinema with 3 screens showing a variety of films from the obscure to the... More

We have visited twice - once to see an Argentinian comedy, once for a blockbuster movie. Both times we were charmed by the helpful staff, quirky food and great films on offer. We became members and intend to regularly see fantastic world cinema releases. To anyone who thinks it expensive I suggest they try going to London. The running costs... More

I don't care if this is a slightly more intimate place to go and watch a film, but at £9.50 for a large glass of wine this place is so pretentiously, hideously overpriced that I shall never be returning. For the pleasure of being ripped off, there were sticky tables, dirty toilets and disgusting floors, with rubbish, popcorn and other... More

The cinema is pleasant but the staff at the bar have a serious attitude problem. On more than one occasion have been almost embarrassed by how rude they are. Literally, sighing and eye rolling at customers. Come on management, sort out your front of house.

Nice little, cosy cinema. Not impersonal like the chains. I it's a film you want to see it's better to visit the Picture House. Well worth a visit.
