The punt was comfortable, with padded seat mats and rugs and umbrellas, just in case. Our tour guide was knowledgeable, fun and interesting. It was amazing navigating through the many punts, many of which were tourists, punting for the first time. It was a leisurely, unhurried hour, well spent. The views of the Colleges from the river are excellent, so... More

Tucked away at the end of Garret Hostel Lane - follow the chalk marks on the walls! Very reasonably priced and comfortable punts, with umbrellas provided 'just in case'. Knowledgeable punter and entertaining too. Highly recommended, and much better than the other, higher priced companies I've used before.

Our guide was knowledgeable and a skillful punter - unlike a lot of others we witnessed on the canal! Definitely recommend paying for the guided trip rather than the self drive option. The canal is very beautiful and calming, with great views of the colleges backing onto it, and lovely bridges to navigate under. I would recommend going when the... More

Love Cambridge but previously resisted taking a punt on the river trips. The Mill pond station, priced at £17+, deterred but we came across this location by accident and £12.50 sounded reasonable. Very, very reasonable as the whole experience was fun, informative and great value with our particular 'gondolier', not an undergraduate but a townie with a definite first in... More

We had a very knowledgeable guide he was very polite and sweet. We heard some of the other guides from other companies and they were definitely not as knowledgeable. We really enjoyed the trip and I loved having someone to take us though we could have done it ourselves. I would have preferred to be by ourselves but it was... More

A really nice girl driver took all the way around. You can heal all the funny stories from her. You can also go to the pub next to the water if you want a glass of cider))

Thank you, Chris, for the wonderful experience!! We booked online for the £50 for a private tour for 4 people is the best price you'll find in Cambridge! It's £12.50 online or £14/pp day-of so this is an excellent value. It was worth every penny! This was the highlight of my experience in Cambridge. Reading reviews of all touring co's,... More

Hello. My name is John and I have just been part of one of the most wonderful tourist experiences on the planet, a punt tour on the river Cam through buildings clothed in grandeur. The chauffeur was brilliant. To keep up I had to get ahead of myself! Name withheld
