Scruffy, noisy room, just on top of the kitchen ventilation system running full blast 24/7. Cleaning mediocre and breakfast ditto, except for the really bad coffee. Some rooms are better but with shared bathroom. Fairly expensive, not very much value for money or historical feel.

Parking impossible, park and ride probably a good idea. Stayed here one night in one of the en suite rooms. Lovely buildings and good central location. Would definitely recommend an en suite if you are going out drinking, I wouldn't have fancied frequent trips down the corridor to a shared wc. That said, my dad had an ordinary room in... More

This is a charming and elegant college with exceptionally helpful porters. Definitely recommend it as part of the Cambridge tour or even as a place to stay when it's not university term time.

Booked to stay here for 2 nights whilst in Cambridge for a boys weekend. The location is great, so close to all the attractions and with the river just down the road. Breakfast was of a good standard and the rooms were fine. Would recommend going for the en-suite rooms though, we didn't and only had 1 toilet between 10... More

On arrival in mid-April we were directed from the porter's lodge to our room located on the ground floor of the accommodation building. Our twin room was small but clean, neat and tidy and with a radio, so not quite devoid of refinements, not that we needed it, rather peace and quiet which we got, excepting one night when a... More

Excellent. fab location, excellent assistance and info on arrival, wifi access. Generous breakfast (you don't eat in the posh sumptuous hall - but the more urban one next door). Slap bang in the middle of everything. College situ right next door to KIng's - Colleges could do with arranging car parking permits/assistance for lodging guests. Tourists can't ride all around... Comfortable room, with loft bed, excellent all-you-can-eat breakfast included in room rates, friendly staff, reasonable prices, central location. Good for a quick lunch too....

We stayed one night at St Catherine's College. It's good for the experience of staying in an old heritage college - you can have dinner and breakfast in the dinning hall in college student style. A way to experience college lifestyle without the exams ;-) The room itself is clean and sufficient - nothing fancy, certainly not a 4/5-star hotel... More

Beautiful college, full of wonderful history and gorgeous architechture. I loved visiting it! It's location next to King's College makes the two ideal consecutive visits.
