Our guide was very knowledgeable and gave us a good overview of the history as well as current practices at Cambridge. The walk was quite enjoyable and we covered a large portion of the city within the 2 hour tour. Our guide was able to answer our questions and was quite engaging in her talks. My only qualm was that... More

The tour took us for 2 hours through town with stops in Pembridge College and King's College. There is a lot of information about the history of the colleges and the town. We would have liked some more walking and more information on modern day life in Cambridge. There was no attempt whatsoever to include some interesting snippets for our... More

I did the official walking tour in April 2014, and highly recommend. What a fantastic way to see and learn all about Cambridge - and what a beautiful place it is. Our guide was very knowledgeable and interesting. The tour went for about 2 hours, and was very easy walking. My favorite was definitely Kings College Chapel, absolutely beautiful inside... More

Arranged through the Tourist Information Centre, this 2 hour tour takes gives to a good basic history of Cambridge and a great tour of King's College and Queens' College. The Guide was knowledgeable and provided lots of interesting facts, not just historical but also related to modern Cambridge. Well worth doing to see bits of the city that you would... More

After meeting Nancy at the Tourist Information together with 20 other like minded people, she took us on a journey through the streets and colleges of Cambridge with such enthusiasm. We were always advised where we were going next and pointed out details which would have been missed had we been walking on our own. Entrance to the magnificent King's... More

On Sunday 16 February the Tourist Information Centre called in a tour guide at short notice to escort a mixed group of 9 of us and what a pleasure it was for all of us to meet Tony Rodgers and become captivated in the tales and history of Cambridge by a master of his craft. Tony involved us all, especially... More

We booked by phone and were able to collect our tickets from the Tourist Information Centre. The tour was led by a very knowledgeable guide, a mine of information, full of anecdotes and able to engage with the group. He took us to some obscure parts that we would never have discovered for ourselves, as well as visiting Queens' College... More

We have always found a walking tour of a location is always value for money and this was no different. We used the tour organised by the Tourist Information Centre. The cost of the tour includes the entry fees to the colleges visited. Stephen, our guide, has lived and worked in Cambridge his whole life and is very knowledgeable. As... More

I have lived in Cambridge for a couple of years and as I had family visiting, decided to do an arranged walking tour with the tourist information centre. We thoroughly enjoyed the two hour guided tour led by Tony. He had the right balance of humour and information about the city and colleges to keep our attention and make it... More

Was organised as part of our study course in the Business School at Cambridge. Our group was led by a rather feisty old lady who made it enjoyable and entertaining. However, one might qualify that the appeal of the tour could be proportional to one's interest with academic matters. But then Cambridge is famous for that!
