We had a great time on our bike and punt tour this weekend, we covered so much on our trip and it was really interesting and fun. Our tour guide Gemma was a local and knew a lot of good stories about the history however she kept it light and simple enough to appeal to non-history buffs! I learnt a... More

Was part of a tour group. It was glorious weather. Cambridge is full of lot of colleges , historical buildings and places to see. Buses are usually not able to navigate around the whole city and walking around is quite tiring. Bicycling in and around the city was a fantastic way to experience this beautiful city. I took the 2.5... More

I booked a punt for a private tour by Internet in the morning but there was a mix up when we got to the riverbank. This was actually caused partly by ourselves for not questioning the people doing the tour when they said we would be sharing. However, as soon as I e mailed Anthony at Cambridge bike tours who... Very enjoyable ride around Cambridge seeing the main sites around the Colleges plus a little of the countryside. Very nice guide. Good bikes. Its very flat so an easy ride. Make sure you book so that if you are a bit late they don't leave without you.

As visitors new to Cambridge, it was a great way to experience the city - good mix of cycling and information. The tour enabled us to cover quite a lot of the area and we then had a sense of places we would like to visit and where they were. Gemma was very friendly and always made sure that everyone... More

We went as a group with Anthony to do the bike tour along the river and the city tour. Anthony was very friendly and knowledgeable. He is very gregarious and knows how how to capture your interest in the history of Cambridge. We all had a great time and found the history to be very interesting. I would recommend this... More

I went on the morning tour with Gemma. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I am 70 but the trip was not difficult as the area is obviously very flat. We ventured a little into the country to see the boat sheds and then back around the town for the main tourist venues. Gemma a kept us well informed all the time.... More

Myself and 15 other colleagues had a great start to our day with Anthony and his Cambridge bike tour. It was my first time in the city and if you're even half competent on a bike I'd recommend this tour as the best way to make a start with this beautiful town. it helped that the sun was shining but... I went on the morning city tour with Gemma. It was conducted at a fairly quick pace but covered a lot of ground and content. I liked the pace although others may not; but note that when there were stragglers, Gemma waited for them to catch up before telling the group about that area of interest. From this tour you... I only had one day to pack in the Cambridge experience, and this was a great way to do it! Cycling tours allow you to cover much more ground that you could manage by walking. I took first the morning tour around the city with Gemma. Our group was a mix of adults and children, and the pacing and route... More
