Poor waiting service, cold food & limited items on the menu. You might want to choose somewhere else to eat.

You get what you pay for? Not always....5 Bells need to improve their fare. Compared with other local eateries, it is no longer a reasonable deal. Tip: DONT order a steak! Puddings and coffee are the beat part of the meal.

a nice modern pub with a laid back feel - good choice of real ales and a varied menu , nothing special and maybe a touch pricey but friendly and helpful staff . Close to RAF Halton training base if you have friends / relatives there

Chips were the best we had on our trip to England -- cooked three times to a great crispy crunch. Delicious beef pie. The sticky toffee pudding was especially good too.

Situation of the pub can be a pain just like the parking but once you get inside, the atmosphere is great and charming. The food is great too.

I had a nice stay at the hotel here and decided to have my evening meal here. I sat outside as it was a nice evening and the waitress I had was lovely. Very pleasant and helpful. The food was very nice and came quickly, well presented and hot. I would return here again.

We used to live in the area for over 20 years so we know the Five Bells well as a restaurant and pub but had no reason to stay. This weekend we came back for a long weekend to visit the children. The rooms are very clean and adequately furnished. The rooms are not the biggest but not too small... More

We have often eaten here before and decided to take a relative for a wedding anniversary lunch (Wednesday 9/4/14) . We were a table of only six and only about a third of the other tables were occupied. While the food was mainly very good (just one plate of sausage and mash not very hot) the service was embarrassingly slow... More

We used to go here a lot. Once. Now the whole atmosphere and quality has changed and worse still - the local traveller community love to come and take over entire sections of the pub. They are loud, extremely unpleasant and very threatening as they exclude everyone else from the area. The management can do nothing about it, but the... More

We had a delicious food and it was very reasonably priced. Everything was great until we left the building to get to the car park. We had to walk through a Clouds if smoke from the smokers who were congregated around the door. This really spoiled the whole evening for us. Why not get smokers to smoke somewhere els? I... More
