We came to watch "Evita" - because we had seen it at Hull, loved it, and wanted to see it again... so we came for the show not the venue. However we were really really impressed - not big lovers of a building designed to look like - well not sure really - but it looks weird and in no... More

A top flight theatre bringing top flight artists and performances. Extremely well laid out for seating and amenities.

The inside of Waterside theatre is of a strange design with lots of shards of multi colours but they do get a good selection of shows and musicals. I've only had one poor experience not long after they had opened where it was snooker stars having a laugh and a few games. The table was set on the stage but... More

This is an ideally located theatre - lots of parking and just next to waitrose for in theatre snacks or weatherspoons for a quick meal/ drink beforehand. The theatre is new and had lovely wood interior, the prices of tickets vary do you can pay top price for prime seats or get yourself a bargin and watch from the sidelines.

Very comfortable theatre with friendly staff. We were in the Slips section J and there's a very good view of 90% of the stage from there. The railing is only a slight obstruction to the view and seats are moveable so you can get comfortable. At the same price as the back of the upper circle it's well worth considering... More

Their programme is a little hit and miss, but the staff are a delight, and for a discerning theatre goer, it's worth finding a diamond in the rough in their programme and giving this place a go. We always look to this theatre for a night out as we've never left disappointed. Great customer service, nice surroundings, and good theatre.... More

We were in Row E and had a good view of the stage although the sound effects had the seats moving for most of the performance of ABBA reunion. Did not like the price of drinks as it cost £4.67 for a single wine.

I have been to Waterside Theatre many times, lovely place and have never been let down - that is, however, until last night. I went to see ABBA tribute, the overall night was OK but frankly I have seen better ABBA tribute bands in pubs and not had to pay as much for the privilege. The band played all the... More

Easy access, easy to find, great amenities with cafe serving fresh food, including breakfast, a bar on each floor. They even have conference rooms for rental. The theatre itself is very well designed and although modern has a very warm set up with all the wood. Whilst some seats are advertised as restricted viewing this is no where near like... More
