I took my nephew age 6 to the museum and he loved it. While relatively small, there is still lots to do - storytelling, interactive exhibits and an entire room devoted to crafts where you can make things, draw and generally get creative. Cafe Twit has a selection of good, healthy and reasonably priced food. The shop was a revelation... more

Not far from us is the Chiltern Village of Great Missenden where the famous author Roald Dahl lived until his death in 1990. My daughter (11) and I are big Roald Dahl fans, and we enjoyed our short trip from London to visit this museum. Although the relatively small space was crowded with very young children (I'd guess most were about 4-8 years old), the exhibits were appealing to all ages.
