A very pretty zoo

This isnt the biggest zoo but it is a very pretty zoo, lovely zoo gardens and very well thought out. Lots of animals to see and the talks are very good.

Bristol Zoo is a small but perfectly formed space. Their website has all the information about specific areas and animals. It also shows up and coming events. I loved the rainforest area!

I have been coming to Bristol Zoo since I was six weeks old, and have always been fascinated by wildlife as a result. The zoo has grown up with me, in conservation and welfare terms, and is now a thoroughly ethical and well-respected institution. Highlights these days include the moonlight world, a walk through night-time exhibit for all the zoo's... More

Very expensive 35 pound for me my husband 4 year old and 2 year old I wouldn't have minded paying this for a day out but we were in and out in an hour and a half. There is not a lot here some of the fish were interesting but there is so many other things to do in Bristol... More

Regularly visit Bristol zoo, it is an excellent place, very interested in conservation and education. They are always updating it so its constantly changing and maintains the interest. Parking can be difficult and it's car park fills up fast so get there early but otherwise always a great day out

Hi visited, the zoo on the week-end. Great day out for a family as there is lots to see and do. There's lots of different animals and activities to keep you busy. A bit on the pricey side to get in, however they do offer a family ticket which you can book on-line. The parking is also a bit hit... More

This is an old zoo with plenty to see. Some of the animals are in small enclosures but they seem to be doing a lot of work to improve the animals space. It has a play area, large cafe and gift shop, usual stuff. We took our children there a lot when they were younger and really enjoyed it. I... More

I last went to the Zoo was last year, and I have to say I am so so upset with the lack of real animals. Where are the lion's, tigers, elephants, giraffes and hippos???? To say that my daughters and I were greatly disappointed would be a massive massive understatement. And these have been replaced by plastic dinosaurs is a... More
