We recently enjoyed a very enjoyable evening 3 hr trip on the tower bell. It had a well stocked bar on board although I think the drinks were expensive, £14 for a round of drinks, we had the same round of drinks in a local pub before getting on for £8 ! The boat was very clean and the toilets... More

This was a very relaxing way to spend 45 minutes, and see parts of Bristol that you wouldn't normally see. Had a commentary as we went to learnt about Bristol's history. Thoroughly recommended. Only thing wrong with it, was that the trip wasn't long enough.

We booked well in advance for this trip which is really popular and it's not hard to see why. It was so relaxing and the skippers were brilliant - really informative and interesting to listen to. We got to go through the lock with The Matthew which was so interesting and we enjoyed seeing the bridge being lifted as we... More

They ran on time and it was a very pleasant tour of the harbour. The commentary was reasonably audible (I'm deaf with hearing aids) and humorous. The only problem was that Charlie actually asked if I wanted a concession! (I think I look young for my age - what a cheek!) all in good humour. Do it, you'll enjoy it!

When your feet get tired of walking around the city centre, just hop on to the packet boat at the harbourside (or SS Great Britain) - and relaaaxxx. Pleasant 45 minute tour of the harbour and staff seem genuine happy with their job :) Need to climb a few steps to get in and out of the boat, but staff... More

We did the 45 minute tour with commentary around the harbour on Wednesday. The barge was crewed by 2 young men who were courteous and helpful. A very pleasant way to pass an hour.

Took the sunday afternoon trip to Beese's Tea Garden. Informative commentary . Thought it fairly priced for a whole afternoon's trip. We had just under an hour at the tea garden which was ample. Once beyond the industrial areas of the docks & central Bristol the rive runs in a pleasent wooded valley.

An absolute gem, we were let down at the last minute by a terrible company (number Seven Boats) and this company saved my day. The lady I spoke to on the phone was so courteous and helpful and really did her best to help me out. The boat trip itself was amazing, the two young lads staffing the boat were... More

Not expensive way to see the docks at Bristol. Good Commentry by staff and interesting facts and sights. Would recommend. Tour takes about 45minutes
