Cheap and frequent, a great way to get round the waterfront, used them to get back to centre from SS Great Britain
A leisurely way to see how the old dock area has been brought back to life. Reasonable fares and friendly, helpful boat staff. Worth a ride.
Easy access from temple meads station, stops at castle park for bristol shopping quarter then right round the harbour side ,try stopping at the cottage pub for great food then rejoin the boat for home
from the ferry you can see sights that you cannot see from a pedestrian mode also you can in some cases see some of the medieval sites that make Bristol
The Bristol ferrys are not only a great way to get from A to B but also provide one of the best views of the city. A favourite route is from Temple Meads train station to the floating harbour.
Nice boats and relaxing trips around the harbour and beyond. Can be hired for parties and stag and hen parties also, even pub crawls!!!
A great way of getting from SS Great Britain into the City Centre. The 2 guys operating the taxi were very knowledgeable of the area, and pointed us in the right direction for street art !! :)
This was a fun way to a range of Bristol sights at a good value. Get the all day ticket so you can hop on and off to make the most of your money.
The day pass for £6.00 is very good value, and you can travel all round the floating harbour. You do have to wave from some stops to get the skipper's attention. The staff are great fun, and have a great rapport with the travellers.
