Visited with my wife and daughters with their four kids, two of which are under two. The Girls bought a jump on/off roaming family ticket for four, which included up to three concessionary tickets, one of which was allocated to me as I'm over 65 and the other two for the kids under two, for I think about £20. My... More

Just for fun, when in Bristol centre for lunch, we decided to take advantage of the sunny day and had a trip round the harbour on the Bristol Ferry. In fact we went down to The Cottage pub, had a drink and caught the next ferry back. Very friendly young lady greeted everyone and was smiling and charming. Plenty to... More

We use the ferry for both commuting, and also have occasionally taken the pleasure trips, the ferry is frequent, and the staff are very friendly whether you are a local or a tourist. You can pick the ferry up at temple quay, next to the train station, and travel all the way to hot wells if required with regular drop... More

Traveled on the ferry for the first time today. Lovely views, friendly staff, student discounts offered - great experience!

We bought day tickets so we could hop on and off where we wanted to. We travelled on three different boats during the day and in all cases to staff were friendly and helpful, answered questions when asked and ran the boats to time. Despite some torrential rain they did their best to dry the seats, provided umbrellas etc

What a great way to get around and see the city, but the city should advertise it and sign post it as it is not very well advertised. It is a cheap way to travel and the crews are very friendly.

Better than walking or catching the bus and the staff pointed out the birds of prey we passed. Good on a sunny day.

We were going to be late due to a bridge swing and closed foot bridge. The ferry made an extra stop to puck us up! Excellent!

Thought we would take the kids on a boat ride seeing as it was pouring down and the seating area on this particular boat was inside but wish we never bothered!!!! It was hammering down, we had no help getting onto the boat with pushchairs bags and little ones and the staff of the boat were so rude i couldnt... More

The staff on this boat were amazing, friendly and safety was paramount. It was a short trip but the staff made it so pleasurable.
