There is not a lot you can say about this, it is a good way to cross the water, frequent, but can be cold on the water

Bristol Ferry Boats offer a calm and enjoyable way to look around the city. From the water, you see the other side of buildings passed on the roads - it's a great alternative perspective! The city centre is built on water, and the Ferries gave me a new understanding of the extent of this. And, if you can use them... More

We had day tickets, which were fantastic value for £6. The stops are in really convenient places to see the sights, and we hopped on and off all day. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful.

Friendly skipper and crew made for an enjoyable trip into the centre of Bristol. Gave us an excellent recommendation for an Italian restaurant which I reviewed earlier.

The 150th anniversary of Brunels' suspension bridge. An evening of music and fireworks for the Bristolian populace to enjoy, and be proud of. Massive crowds, roads closed and the evening is now over. Thousands are walking back, some distance , to the various car parks. Dredding the long trudge we hear a shout,'anymore for the ferry?'. We investigate and find... More

Regular boats and friendly staff. We used a day ticket, moving around central Bristol by ferry, good day out. We took a buggy and two toddlers and staff helped us each time we needed to get on or off a ferry.

We had a day ticket and took three trips to different parts of the river. The boats ran on time (& that was important to us as we needed to transfer at one time), they were clean and tidy and the crew were very helpful and friendly. There wasn't any commentary but there was a useful river map on the... More

We took this to the SS Great Britain from Temple Meads station. Good little journey with very friendly staff. Also they recommended a local pub, The Orchard Inn, for lunch. Great choice as the food was superb. Fares are quite cheap & this is a must on a nice day in Bristol

Travelled back from SS Great Britain on them to town , brilliant quicker than walking. Also used them to get to Temple Meads station next day. What an asset for Bristol.
