Although the weather was dreadful, we were able to enjoy the short trip around the harbour. The guide was brilliant, as they gave you lots of interesting information without going overboard. At £6 for a 45 minute tour, we thought it was excellent and we thoroughly reccomend.

What a brilliant service ferry this is, a pleasure to use. A delightful friendly chap helps u on board and collects money. Discount for caravan club members. Scenic route round the floating harbour. Highly recommend!

We had a fab trip on the ferry to meet santa, kids got a long time to sit and chat to santa whilst parents enjoyed the scenery with a sherry!

I took 2 grandchildren for a ride round the harbour last year. It was cold, breezy and drizzling but we all enjoyed it. You can see all the sights from the water, and sail past the Great Britain, the Matthew and the harbour. The 3 point turns were great fun. Staff were helpful and had a sense of humour. We... More

great way of getting to the centre. I usually get on at temple meads and taxi boat it into town. Pleasant trip and the staff are friendly and knowledgable.

Cheap parking by SS Great Britain and then use the ferry to travel up to the Centre for shopping etc. Great for sightseeing as well. Try a round trip - SS Great Britain, Hotwells, The Centre and back. Get a flavour of vibrant Bristol from the water. The staff are great too! Boats are frequent and the fares are very... More

An enchanting way to travel in Bristol and do as I did and meet a Londoner off the train and then take to Ferry to lunch on the harbour. Sensational - he didn't know how lovely the floating harbour is

We live on the Harbourside and use Bristol Ferry Boats regularly. They are very reliable, the staff helpful and friendly and you can hail the ferry even if you are on the 'wrong' side of the Harbour - they will still pick you up! If you are semi regular, get the 8 trips for £10 ticket as its a good... More
