I've recently move to Bristol and have used the ferry service on numerous occasions between Temple Meads and the city centre. The ferry has always been on time and the crew very friendly. It is an ideal way of seeing the sights around the floating harbour as well as getting around the city and will be even better come the... More

We caught the ferry all the way from Temple Meads to the Pump House. We had to change halfway and it cost about £3.50 each for a single trip. The boat itself was fun, and the staff are super friendly and happy to answer questions. It is nice to see Bristol from the water for a change but there was... More

We just wanted to have a short boat trip along the river to SS Great Britain and walked back. It was a lovely cruise and ticket collector was very friendly.

This is a good way of seeing just what the harbour looks like from the water and what the area has to offer.

Have used the ferry a couple of times now to get from Temple Meads to the city centre. Prices are around £2 a single or I think it's £3.70 for a return. A lovely alternative to the bus, and a good way to skip traffic! It takes about 20 mins to get from Temple Meads to the centre, so not... More

You can hop on by the SS Great Britain and get off by the Watershed and go for lunch! It's a really nice way to see the docks - from a boat!

The trip was a bit expensive, but due to its uniqeness the fee is justified. Boats are quite noisy, which is minus

This is a fairly low cost and fun way to get between some of the venues in the docks. Definitely worth doing once at least.

Wow! We loved every minute looking at the Bristol sites from the boats. The entire family aboarded a great little boat and we saw the as Great Britain among other sites. Thoroughly enjoyed by all.

After their financial problems and near disappearance last year, Bristol Ferry Boats are back and better than ever. The prices are reasonable, the staff are super-friendly and a source of really useful local knowledge, and with the roads being so clogged up in the city, it is just the best way to travel. The views of the harbour-side are always... More
