Inexpensive, uncomplicated fun. Sail around, seeing this and that from the water (e.g. the Matthew), stopping off if you want (e.g. for lunch, or to see the Great Britain), then back to where you started.

Always try and take visitor friends for a tour round the harbour to give them a quick overview of the sights of Bristol in a short space of time.

jumped on the ferry by the SS Great Britain for a short trip into the water shed on a very sunny dry day. Great service and way to see the working harbour with easy access on and off.

I loved this experience having traveled all around the world i love boats, and living in Bristol have missed them so much. i took a trip from the center of town by the fountains, to a small pub i think called the pump house. It was a lovely day, the only downside was that it was a little bit choppy,... More

Ferries run a bit like water taxis..£3.50 p.p. for a round trip around the harbour. Inside and outside seating. Good views of the S.S Great Britain.

This is a good way of viewing the harbor side at a reasonable price. It is also a good way to getting around.

Great for visitors to Bristol or for taking visiting family out to see parts of Bristol that you can otherwise not explore by car. These ferry services arrive almost constantly from the center of Bristol by the water-steps and cost only around £5 per adult for a 45 minute boat-trip around the waters of Bristol. You can jump on/off at... More
