As a Bristol local I have visited the cathedral many times. It's not particularly inspiring, in either an artistic or a spiritual sense. It doesn't compare to Wells or Salisbury for instance. The cathedral shop sells almost nothing relating to Christianity which is a shame, especially for those who may visit in search of some hope or help. The little... More

Just not as good as others we have look at. Shame about all the chairs stored inside.I know they have to go somewhere but I felt that the cathedral wasn't appreciated as it should be.

The Cathedral was stunning and the staff were there to answer any questions you had or just tell you interesting facts about it.

Hidden from the city centre, accessible only via inside the cathedral, there's a lovely little garden (oh, its also a cemetery). The cathedral building is interesting too.

Nice to take friends and family to visit or just go for the concerts. Oh yes, it is a place for prayer too.

Afraid to say didn't know Bristol had a Cathedral. Quite beautiful inside sits on a hill above the docks. Well worth a short visit if in the vicinity.
