Disapponting that it only goes back and forth between two stops. As it doesn't cost much, its worth getting out of the house.

We went along on a nice sunny day, expecting a train journey. The carriages were great fun and the dog was allowed on too, but we went up the track for about 5 mins, then watched the train go past and link up the other end of the train. Then we were taken up the track for a short period... More

This had a good length of track and liked the fact that it stopped at several stations you could get on and off or go to the end of the line and catch the train back at the end of the day

on the Bristol to Bath cycle path this provides an ideal stop to have a cup of tea and a cake. Very good value and lovely to see the trains go in and out of the station a feeling of times gone by

What a wonderful day out, gorgeous steam engine pulls the train through the most beautiful countryside. Take your camera and keep your eyes peeled for the red kites that are about.

Spent the evening on an Avon Valley Railway train, participating in one of the Murder Mystery evenings. Thoroughly enjoyed our ourselves. Great fun and lovely to be so involved. Will be booking again for another

A Great Little Steam Engine Railway, a little short but nice for Steam Lovers. Old fashion Railway station to boot.

I know some people are disappointed by the length of trips, but do your homework and you will know it is only a three mile track - I am sure they would love it to be longer, but those are the facts. The good news is you can use the train as many times as you like on your daily... More

I like do trips on old steam railways but was very disappointed with this one. The coaches were just any old British Rail stock. There was nothing else to see other than the train. The scenery along the route was nothing to write home about. I shall not visit that one again.
