Could be expensive, but is cheaper towards the end of the day. There is so much to explore so allow lots of time if you have children. The Ardman animation area is especially interesting for children to make their own little films that can be downloaded to home computer.

Highly recommend my god daughter loved it. The children can really engage and enjoy themselves whilst learning about how things work. There are lockers by the food court which was great and you are welcome to take your own food in too which makes things a bit cheaper. We will be back :)

This is great. There are so many things to do, and it is so much fun, that the kids forget that they are learning something in the process.

The 3D planitarium is £3 extra but worth the extra money, outstanding 3D graphics and very educational. We are visitin... More

I took two boys, aged 8 and 7 year and what a GREAT time they had. To keep two boisterous boys engaged for so long on a sunny day was no small task. They were engaged for 4 hours, rushing from one activity to the next. They could have spent a whole day exploring the animation section. The museum definitely... More

Visited with young children and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves, lots of hands on activities. It is very educational for the kids but adults can also do all the activities, with a more in-depth background knowledge. Liked that you could come in and out which meant going out for lunch and then being able to reenter. It is also very fairly... More

Took some visiting relatives here for the day - niece (5 yrs old), her mother and grandparents. They were absolutely blown away by the whole experience. The fact that the exhibits are designed to be touched and played with delighted all of them, the adults as much as the niece. They truly didn't know what to experience first. The niece... More
