I love this place - it's the best of it's kind. So much to do and it caters for every age. Our 6 year old was entertained but equally us adults were engrossed in the exhibits. It's worth a visit even if you are travelling from afar. Allow plenty of time though - there's a lot to do.

It is a very good place to entertain the kids - lots of science fun exhibits, e.g. kids can see how water locks work, or make 'instant shadow' photo or take part in workshops (we happened to attend a chocolate one).

Other museums have a lot to learn from @Bristol - every single exhibit was interactive, everything was informative and best of all everything was fun. Learning is easy when it's delivered like this. Well done @Bristol and thank you.

We had been previously with our 5 year old granddaughter. She is now 6 and we also took our 3 year old grandson. Both children loved the time we spent there. They made flour, had their photo taken with 'yummy' food, watched the parachutes float down, became buzzing bees, built with giant lego style bricks. Granddaughter was also fascinated by... More

I took my 4 year old and autistic 9 year old. Very accessible. The attractions don't really change much but there was work taking plays maybe imminent. A bit upset that we couldn't use some if the attractions but paid full price. The cafe is small and expensive but very nice. The queue for the toilets are long. Shop ok... More

We decided to go here as it was recommended by Dara O Briain when we saw his live show at the Hippodrome! Really interesting fun interactive activities, we didn't get to see it all even though we were there for 2 hours! We are both in our early 20s and got just as much out of it as kids probably....
