We spent four hours here with our two (age 8 and 10) and they loved it.Nice to find somewhere that they can feel free to touch everything and not be reprimanded for it.We revisited several areas that they really enjoyed and could have spent longer here, the planetarium was not that great and I wouldn't recommend paying the extra to enter... really interesting, lots of fun, disappointed with the planetarium which was more astrology than astronomy!

This is a good attraction in central Bristol, and ideal if you're wanting to split the day up from shopping or another attraction. There's plenty to see and do to fill up a few hours.

We travelled about an hour today with our 6 & 8 year old kids, they had a great time we killed 4 hours (ish) in a grey Sunday. The staff were on hand to demonstrate some of the exhibits, but most were self explanatory. We had lunch in the Cafe and it was top quality food, all cooked fresh. (And... More

Actually it is the old dock railway station - but expanded into a wonderful science centre (mostly for kids). In September, Bristol has an 'open house' weekend and At-Bristol is on the programme - you get a detailed "behind the scenes tour" and they explain all the "green" and "energy saving" measures they have. As I understand, it is a... More

Had a fantastic day out on the 17/01/2015. Took 2, 10 year old boys and they thought it was brilliant. The animation area upstairs could have kept the quiet all day, let alone all the other things to do. Staff are very friendly, the Planetarium was brilliant and the cafe reasonable.

What a great experience for children of all ages. We took our 3 year old grandson and he liked the hands on experience probably did not understand the science yet but enjoyed playing with the apparatus. The planetarium was excellent we saw Little Stars especially for the toddlers. This is a great day out and experience and no doubt we... More

I can understand the comments re pricey BUT what is good value is the couples annual pass. Makes for a good Christmas or anniversary present at reasonable price. We too our 18 month old granddaughter here in November and she loved it so much that we bought the annual pass for her Mum and Dad ( she gets in free... More

A good place to take young children on a cold, wet day! And that is about it. Very expensive and to be quite honest, I found it very boring indeed.

4 adults, a 4 year old and 9 month old had a wonderful day. So many exhibits and all interactive. Little people wont know what to do first! We did the ground floor in the morning, went searching harbourside for somewhere to lunch, then returned in the afternoon for the first floor. There is however a cafeteria and picnic area... More
