So we arrived, children excited, parents happy and then it went down hill from there. We proceeded to pay at the till, where the pushy assistant was persistent in up-selling a space show tickets, which was frustrating having spent just short of £40 to get in, they wanted another £10 for the show. Which I found beyond belief, despite telling... More

Took two science mad boys who found lots to do. Over priced but then I remember the days when museums were free...they weren't like this mind you! Lots of hands on activities for all ages teaching valuable stuff about health, physics and even morals! Take your own food as the cafe is nice but expensive....and a change of clothes for... More

Spent a few days in Bristol between 15th and 22nd July, not knowing what was expected. @Bristol has a good educational and interactive events but is an expensive day out for a family but it was enjoyable but going on and enjoying the harbour region of Bristol across the harbour from @Bristol there is the SS Britain museum. This museum... More

I visited @Bristol with my husband and our 13 year old daughter. I was a bit worried that she wouldn't find much to do but I was really pleased to say that we found plenty of things that were interesting for all of us. We spent about 90 minutes browsing the attraction and doing as many activities as we could.... More

A vibrant, modern, clean area in the traditional setting of the waterfront. On this warm day it felt very Mediterranean.

@Bristol is a great day out.... for children and adults alike. very interactive and educational yet a very manageable size. Upstairs is an excellent animation exhibit where kids can create their own cartoon - an ode to Wallace and Gromitt!

Great day out for both children and adults - however slightly expensive compared to the other activities you can do in Bristol. A shame that it is not more accessible to the public because of the price.

We spent hours here playing with all the interactive exhibits and had a lot of fun. There were very few items that we're not working, and plenty of new things to learn - and we are adults. Kids must absolutely love it. One word of warning though - if you visit the giant bubble-making area upstairs, don't go through the... More

We took our 9 month and 2 1/2 year old here not really knowing how much they'd get out of it but they loved it, my baby was amsued by lots of the activities and my toddler was into everything. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, we got engrossed in the activities, not too much learning took place for... More

I've always been a huge fan of @Bristol and we go a couple of times a year so I was disappointed to discover that many exhibits were out of order or closed when we went today. I appreciate that things get worn out but there were at least 6 exhibits which weren't working at all, loads of things missing or... More
