Had a great day out at a wedding here. lovely grounds and food. I know it's a listed building but I feel if it had guest accommodation would be much better. Let's get Bristol to invest in this place it's a winner and needs bringing into this century and fulfilling to it's full potential.

To have this huge, varied and wonderful open space just at the edge of the City is wonderful. You can walk, bike, jog, picnic or study nature. Everything - you can even play a round of golf on one of the 2 par 3 courses. Sadly the golf is a bit odd as the rabbits often make pretty convincing holes... More

The balloon fiesta is great fun for all ages. We went for the night glow and took our own picnic, but there are plenty of food stalls and fun fair rides to keep the kiddies entertained while you wait for it to get dark enough for the "glow"

Lovely grounds, reasonable parking fees, the grounds are well kept, we passed a dear park on our way from spotting Shaun the sheep, there is a cafe at the house, very expensive though, also there is another cafe by the golf course which is at the other end of the grounds. On our way back to the car park we... More

I spent the day in Bristol with my daughter doing one of the Shaun the Sheep trails. Parking at the estate was only £1.20 for the whole day. We arrived at lunchtime so thought we would pop into the little café in the court yard. Unfortunately the smell of fried chips was off putting and with very little choice of... More

I lived in Ashton for 20 years and went to Ashton Court as man and boy. I believe it is the best open space in Bristol. A great pity more cannot be made of the house, it has been in the possession of the council for over 50 years so they have had plenty of time... A wonderful asset and... More

I used to live here, its a great place rain or shine for walks around the gardens and surrounding grounds up along the trails through the woods behind the dear reserve. Stop at the tea rooms (formerly stables) and hope to catch them on a quiet day for a hot chocolate or large coffee.

Ashton court is a wonderful open area not far from Clifton. With a walk over the bridge and then perhaps a ten minute walk beyond that. The estate is open parkland which has many walking trails as well as some for mountain bikes as well I believe. The area is particularly popular with runners and dog walkers. I have been... More
