Our daughters wedding took place at Ashton Court on 26th July 2014. From start to finish it was an excellent day, all was superbly organised by Sharon and her team, with particular thanks to Grace and Christine. The ceremoney took place in the Music Room which looked absolutely stunning. While all family and guests went outside for much needed refreshment and photographs... More

Ashton Court is our local(ish) haunt. A great place to walk dogs and bring kids, it's a large estate of rolling hills, woodland, a golf course, some manicured gardens, and of course a mansion house. The mansion house has a cafe offering a variety of snacks and sweet choices, and while dogs aren't allowed inside, there is a large courtyard... More

The exeptional house and gardens have a slightly neglected and downcast air about them and there is a sense that the City council, while pleased to have it all, doesn't really know what to do with it. There is none of the sense of purpose that goes with privately owned or National Trust owned properties of similar stature. We were... More

There's not a huge amount to see. If you have a dog it might be more enjoyable. The cafe served good food but the queue was huge and crowds ruined the experience. The sights aren't that great. Not recommended unless you're taking something to do with you like a picnic or a football

We fancied a coffee out of the city environment. This is a lovely place to go to get some fresh air and feel out of the city. The café is in the old stables of the mansion and the original features have been kept which makes for a good topic of conversation. As you go in and turn to the... More

Growing up in Somerset and living in the city of Bristol means I get withdrawal symptoms of looking at rolling fields & the wilderness that surrounds it. So when I was shown this place by s friend I was over the moon. Its a amazing location which is teaming with wildlife. Stunning in the winter and summer. A great deal... More

After a lovely walk in the beautiful grounds with the dogs decided to pop in for a brew and cake. Cake ok, but the tea &coffee...well, having asked for 'a pot of Earl Grey' and an Americano., we were served 2 x disposable paper takeaway cups with hot fluid in! We weren't told 'no pots of tea' or prepared for... More

We had our wedding here in March and the staff were brilliant. In particular Grace the events manager was extremely helpful and without her the day wouldn't have run so smoothly. The chef also went out of his way to speak to one of our guests before the wedding to sort out a special meal and also provided top class... More
