One of the best visits I have ever made. The ticket is valid for a year, so you can make as many visits as you want. The presentation was excellent, so informative as to make you fell you are actually on a voyage. A five star attraction.

I recently visited the SS Brunel with my husband & 3 kids aged 10,8 & 5. It was worth every penny & an added bonus your ticket is valid for 1 year for any amount of entries within that year. Pencil in about 2/3 hours for this visit. It was so informative & educational & fun for the kids. They... More

I (a historian/amateur engineer aged 60) and my son (age 11) were equally impressed by the SS Great Britain. The ship and its conservation are impressive in their own right, but the presentation and interpretation make it accessible and fascinating. The flow of the visit - "underwater" view, museum and then the ship itself - is effective, the audio guides... More

I took one of the regular ferries to this famous Ship, took only 10 minutes at small cost. Very convenient. I walked back , took about 20 minutes to the centre. The exhibits are priceless and the exhibition is not tacky like so many ie it has not been dumbed down for children. Very informative and a super afternoon out... More

It is brilliant. I took friends from France to look around. It wasn't my first visit to the SS GREAT BRITAIN but it was theirs. On arrival and identifying that they were French they were given a talking guide book - a digital system which is triggered at various parts of the ship to describe in French what they were... More

Absolutely wonderful trip. At first I thought it seemed expensive but after the visit felt it was well worth the money. There is lots of interesting information and artefacts as well as well presented representations of life on board. The use of smell as well as sight served to make the experience more realistic. The audio descriptions were particularly useful... More

You really must see this massive stram ship in the original dry dock in which she was built and is now resting. The location is very charming with full visitor reception and well laid out site. You can go below the "water line" to see the hull and visit the really cleverly restored decks within the ship with everything in... More
