This is the best museum/attraction site we have ever visited. The SS Great Britain is displayed outwardly and inwardly in an informative and interesting way, so that the visitor can understand and appreciate both the engineering and human aspects of the ship. The cafe provides good quality food, and the staff/volunteers everwhere were friendly and helpful. We visited on a... More

This is our second time here as you can visit more than once in a 12 month period for free. Just as enjoyable second visit where you tend to notice things you missed first time. Would definitely go again in future.

The museum aspect has been thoroughly developed with really interesting materials and artifacts that will appeal to a wide age range. Activities for children available too. A thoroughly good visitor experience. Decent cafe too.

Best to travel to by bus. Really interesting to visit, with helpful staff actually felt sea sick! A little expensive though but combined with a dock visit a good day out..

Worth a visit, awesome display. Close to city and a very enjoyable walk. The ship is mounted cleverly in its dock giving visitors the chance to see underneath the hull. Kids will love it.

Having watched the shell of SS Great Britain arrive back in Bristol many, many years ago it is marvellous to see what a wonderful tourist attraction it has become. The sights, sounds and smells evoke a true feeling of what life must have been like aboard the ship in its heyday.
