I visited this with my wife, 2 children and my parents. I found it to be both informative and good fun - for all ages! The ship really is a work of art and there is so much to it - you really could spend all day there. It is divided into several sections and the staff provide recommendations as... More

WE had friends from Australia staying with us and although we live in Bristol we had not been there for a while. You need time to take in all the interesting factors. Ideal for children of all ages as well as adults. It is definitely worth a visit.

Didn't expect to have so much fun here. Being under the ship was such a thrill. The mannequins were a little creepy but otherwise it was very cool and quite clear that a lot of money had been poured into the ship.

A really interesting place to go with the dry dock being particularly good. Can get slightly claustrophobic in some of the cabins but none the less - really good.

This review is by my Y4 son " I have learnt things in school a bit; but when I went to SS, I learnt it in much more detail and learnt lots more. I really enjoyed it; there is a bit scary parts like going to the lower deck of the boat. Altogether, it was really fun but little bit... More

To get this ship back from the Falklands was a minor miracle in itself, but to see how they have transformed it from a rotting hulk into a major tourist attraction is some thing far beyond belief. A trip back in time to see what life was like in Victorian times. Actually bumped into I.K.B. himself, and the kids enjoyed... More

We were in Bristol many years ago when the restoration of the ship was just beginning, so we were eager to see how it turned out. It's wonderful! You get to see the ship, inside and out. Because it's in a dry-dock, you get to walk around the hull, below the water line. Then you can walk the decks and... More

Wonderful attraction which needs at least half-a-day to do justice. Some tips: 1.) To ensure you get your parking refund, make sure you take the _correct_ parking ticket into reception. Apparently thousands don't. If it's raining outside, you probably won't go back! 2.) It's easy to miss the little on-board kiosk issuing audio sets. More than half the folk aboard... More
