A really impressive attraction. You could spend several hours here whatever the weather. The Boat itself is an impressive sight and the way the interior has been made to feel "living" with the links to real passengers is extremely well done.

I wasn't sure what to expect but the interior of the museum itself was fascinating. You get a real idea of the scale of the ship when you see the main spar spanning the length of the museum. There's masses of information that provides a really good human dimension to it with information on peoples' experiences and hands-on stuff for... More

Good to see what it was like "Down Below" on a vessel of this vintage. I saw the SS Great Britain, many years ago when it had first come back from the Falklands, they've done an excellent job with the renovation, weel worth a visit.

Although I was attending a business function th setting provided inspiration to think creatively in identifying solutions. The conference facilities were excellent being well managed from even before we set foot on the premises to be catered for in a friendly & efficient manner. SS Great Britain is a brilliant exhibit capturing both the design and engineering both historically and... More

The SS Great Britain is a must if you are in the area, with plenty to see and it provides an interesting couple of hours. The attraction is not just the "old ship", but a dockside environment, dry dock, museum and the SS GB. There are free hand sets for going round the ship and they provide a little history... More

Initially ,thought admission price was high, but worth every penny. Can return free for a year and as our son has just moved to Bristol , we will visit ship again. Very well laid out and very interesting. You explore underneath the ship as well as in the ship and on top deck.

This attraction was very educational as well as interactive. The whole ship had sections where you could easily imagine the life below decks for both passengers and crew. There were sound tracks for the passengers as well with a baby being born in the sleeping quarters and you could even try fitting in the bunks to check how uncomfortable they... More

Loved this! Very informative and interesting visit. It was interesting to see what it would have been like on board during the voyage.

When visiting the Falkland Islands I had seen the bay where Brunel's famous iron ship had once been scuppered, so it seemed only right to take advantage of a trip to its home city to see the restored vessel in the dry dock where it had been built all those years ago. The SS Great Britain has been completely renovated... More
