I do not usually like ships, but this one was well worth the visit. As with most attractions the price is not cheap, but I found it to be one of the most enjoyable visits of my holiday. If there are any women who like me are not very bothered about ships but your partner is... recommend you take him... More

Have been to see this ship in the 70's and 90's and now in 2014 wow it's incredible as to how they have restored the ship and brought it to life . The audio guides are really informative the displays are amazing and all children and adults love the hands on and the interactive activities and the fact you can... More

A good half day outing worth the effort to walk there from the city centre. Although the hop on and hop off bus stops just outside

Probably the best "living museum" I have ever visited, could easily have spent all day there. Absolutely wonderful!

This attraction is a must see in Bristol. Magnificently reconstructed from a derelict shell and deserving of such place in history. Bring the camera and be prepared to spend lots & lots of time exploring every part of the ship and the character rebuild of the dock area. The museum as part of the whole attraction is worth the price... More

My husband, son, and I had an excellent afternoon exploring the Great Britain. There was enough to interest all of us. My husband is a Brunel fan and I've grown a bit weary of Victorian rail technology. But this was quite different. The displays highlighted what it was like to be a passenger in various parts of the ship, which... More

I have no doubt that the restoration work that has been done on this ship has been, and continues to be, expertly done and the exhibits show what life was like in each of the ship's various roles over the years. Unfortunately I was unable to enjoy much of it as the ship was overrun with school parties, there were... More

This old ship and exhibition tell the story of how it came to be made, what, how and what happened to it. Also to the many people who travelled and worked on her. Fascinating.

We loved it, the fact you can touch things, have your photo next to things, it makes for a better experience. the ship is stunning and it is a great way to learn some history. Lots of interactive sections you can even climb the rigging if you pay extra and where the safety harness
