My family really enjoyed visiting this attraction, but there isn't enough to hold you for more than 2-3 hours. We then went over to the M Shed and saw the Wallace and Gromit show to make a full day of it.

Having won a competition. I will say the visit to ss Great Britain was fantastic and really informative. It was really a pleasure seeing an historical object being restored and maintained, the whole experience was a treat although some of the locals are not friendly but the staff at the dockyard were

I have visited this interactive museum on a few occasions and have always been impressed with the interactive nature of this living part of history. The audio tour is informative and entertaining. A must for history and culture lovers!

SS Great Britain is back in the dry dock where she was built and surrounded by water. However one can go beneath the water, keeping completely dry, and view her underside in the very warm and dry climate artificially created to prevent further rusting by salts in her hull caused by decades of immersion in seawater. Next visit the large... More

We all visited the boat for my daughter's wedding. It is a fantastic venue and the staff could not do enough for us all, it made a very special day even better and we had the run of the ship in the evening after the wedding and it had been closed to general public which made an interesting addition to... Visited the SS Great Britain with my sister whilst in Bristol visiting family. Lovely time, learnt a lot and on the ship itself was great, very detailed and realistic. Would definitely like to go back again!

Bit expensive but well worth it, the tickets allow a free return visit and there is so much to see it's probably a good idea. You can even climb the rigging, for an extra cost. A good day out.

Our visit to the Great Britain exceeded our expectations. It was informative and the ship itself is impressive and beautiful. I particularly enjoyed the walk in the dry dock part of the ship. I've done a lot of similar visits over the years, all over the world, and if this isn't the best of its kind I've ever experienced, then... More

Well worth a visit, very interesting and very well done. Liked the fact you could go down into the dry dock area and see the underside of the boat with lots of information.
