Had a great visit here today. Even though it's half term, the aquarium wasn't packed with children which was nice. Lots of great fish, staff were friendly and everything very clean and tidy.

Having read the very mixed reviews we were unsure whether to visit the aquarium with our 5 year old boy - really glad we did as we all had a great day out in Bristol and a fantastic few hours at the aquarium - it was a joy to see our five year old so excited at being in such... More

Disappointingly this attraction has deteriorated since we last visited. It feels slightly run down, as if nothing has been done other than very basic maintainance. The staff are very nice, but few and far between, and seemed disinterested. There are benches in a couple of areas but not enough to accommodate even the smallish number of people when we were... Amazing place loved it. Amazing Amazon was lush. My Grandchildren loved the coral seas 'finding nemo' was great for them :) I liked the edge of the rainforest, there's lots of talks throughout the day. Shipwreck cove was also good. If you book on line you can get good discounts. More needs to be done regarding the toilets yuk!

A great trip. Amazing overhead tank, showing sharks! Live shows with feeding eg octopus. Quite easy to get around with a mobility aid eg wheelchair or walker.

We had a great day here even though the weather was not great. Many exhibits and feeding times were worth catching. Staff were friendly, helpful and informative. All information well laid out and easy to understand for families.

Spent £45 for family ticket 2 adults 2 children. The kids ran round the wooden pathway in minutes . the 4 year old wasn't interested as you read the information they had ran to the next level stopping only for seconds to see the fish which were really pretty boring. Lots of small fish and their attention was only caught... More

Took family to Bristol aquarium last Sunday. 2 adults and 2 small children - cost £45 for a discounted family pass!!! Entrance bare and uninviting. Rubbish machines and loos disgusting. The displays were interesting and varied but the advertised feeding displays x3 didn't happen and the belief that there were big sharks etc was misleading. In all ok but not... More

This place used to be very different when I was younger and I enjoyed it so much. But as time went on I think new people bought it out as the original aquarium shut down and become something else before this new one. I still enjoy coming here younger ones but more better things to enjoy in Bristol
