The layout provides an excellent introduction to the diversity of sea creatures which inhabit planet Earth and is a joy to young and old alike.

This is a modern aquarium on more than one level and has been designed so the visitors walk around, under and through the various large aquarium sections a few times giving you different views of the fish. The automated entry gate is a challenge for the uninitiated. I was given verbal instructions by the youth on the till but they... More

We have visited Bristol aquarium a number of times and on a previous visit were disappointed in the number of empty tanks and the seemingly shortage of fish...not good for an aquarium. On our recent visit though things seem to have improved, much fuller displays with a good variety of life, all looking healthy and lively. The staff here seem... More

Basically, I planned this date for girl i quite liked, being all romantic and that.. Yanno? It was all gravy. Nice little road trip to beistol. Hardly any traffic, real easy to find. Happily paid the £28 entrance for me and her. Going through, seeing a few jelly fish and crazy blue fish. As you can tell I was happy... More

Lovely place. Nice place to take children too and really informative. Was able to witness shark feeding. Quite a variety of fishes although as I am posting this comment after I visited the aquarium in dubai, I must say it doesn't have as much. All in all, it's a nice place to see if in Bristol. The signs here are... More

I feel compelled to write a review following a visit to the aquarium today. It was an excellent day out, enjoyed by everyone, young and old alike, with plenty to see and the opportunity to spend as long as we wanted at the venue. Yes, I have visited larger aquariums but feel this is good value for money with the... More

We were recommended this as a good place to go with young children, our friends had a young child and were visiting from Southampton. We managed to get a military discount on the entrance fee so it was £12.00 per adult instead of £13.50 without. As the child we had with us was under 3 she got in free. The... More

They have a wide variety of fish and plants. You get good views of the fish. I saw the octopus show which was very interesting to listen to. Although it was very cruel to the poor crab. We were going to eat there but the cafe looked a bit like a school canteen. Also it's kind of expensive.
