We had a lovely morning at the aquarium. The staff are really friendly, and informative. Great displays - my daughters 7&9 loved it. You get your hand stamped so you can go back in which we did later in the afternoon to get our money's worth.

I visited the Aquarium with my friends for my friends hen do. We walked around it in 50 minutes and i thought it was very overpriced. I think £7 would have been plenty enough but not double it!!!

Mavalous place only stayed there about 1 hour where else can you see such beauty but after that a walk around the harbour side was a fantastic day if your taking the kids take a picnic as the food can be expensive there's plenty to see and do

First time visit for me really enjoyed the exhibits. The children also seemed to be entertained. Not only fish to see but frogs, turtles, sea horses etc. lots of interactive things for the children. Watched the octopus being fed and heard a commentary on octopus' worth staying to see. Did feel it was expensive especially for children as only takes about an... More

I was quite unsatisfied with my visit to the aquarium. The attractions were few, the variety of animals is poor and you can get around the entire site in about 45 mins. I really think what they advertise is way more than what you get. The souvenir shop also lacked variety and quality products. They key chain that I did... More

Took my grandchildren here on a trip out and despite the worrying amount of time an old lady would have to walk we all had a pleasant trip. it is a tad overpriced for my modest budget but my grandchildren had a wonderful time and that is all that matters.

Interesting only for kids and a little bit to pricy for what you see. £13 for an adult it's too much for what is offering!

Like several reviews the only downside to this small, urban aquarium is the price. Fortunately we used vouchers and paid only a fraction of the expensive entry charge. With two small children this was a good attraction to visit for an hour, they really enjoyed the small tanks full of clownfish and the octopus. The site is pushchair friendly and... More

A real disapointment. considering the price of the visit (4 adults and two kids) there should have been more to do. Two Tanks were shut becuase fish were dead. The fish were on show for all to see, with a notice saying its under maintaince. Come on they are dead, take them up and flush them away or at least... More

Even if the team working for the Aquarium is brilliant, the quality of the exhibitions is very poor. I regret to have spent so much money for such a bad exhibition !
