They have a wide variety of fish and plants. You get good views of the fish. I saw the octopus show which was very interesting to listen to. Although it was very cruel to the poor crab. We were going to eat there but the cafe looked a bit like a school canteen. Also it's kind of expensive.

Been here a couple of times now, is a great afternoon out. Lots of aquatic species and the turtles are amazing. Brilliantly placed with many other attractions around and plenty of restaurants and bars etc.

Put off at first by the admission fee, we quickly came to realise it was worth every penny of the £13-50 per adult. A very pleasant and informative way of spending over an hour in Bristol. Well laid out, every part was disabled friendly. I would not hesitate to pay a return visit next time I am here!

The entry price is expensive (£27 for 2 adults) for around 30 minutes of walking around (If you're visiting with children from 3-12 years, it will cost even more). There are interesting species there but I expected more. Unlike zoo you cannot have a day out or picnic there.

Might have been lucky but I got to see the Octopus being fed! It was expensive, but if that fee goes into running the place great. I would rather these places did away with all the novelties and just made a decent home for the sea creatures. I was in there for 1 1/2 hours but then I was interested... More

We had a really disappointing visit today. The entry price is ridiculous (it cost over £30 for 2 adults and a child) and there's just not enough there to keep you interested for more than about 20 minutes. The cafe staff were rude - I got a refund on a disgusting cup of "coffee" and they didn't have any soya... More

Loved the baby seahorses and seeing the octopus being fed. Could have a few more live weeds in the tanks for the animals though. Saw species here that I haven't seen before which was a treat. Have been twice now.

The Bristol Aquarium is one of the most over-priced attractions in Bristol. The high entrance fee does not represent value for money and even if you were to walk around at a snails pace you would struggle to make this attraction last over half an hour (usually the kids are running round therefore we can't even make the half hour).... Extremely expensive for what you get. It was nicely laid out but you could do it in less than 1 hour which for the price in my opinion was poor value.

I took my two yo grandson for the day. He was absolutely in fishy heaven. Fantastic place for the young and young at heart. Loved it going back in December :)
