We did enjoy our visit. However, felt it was a bit pricey considering the time we spent there. £29 for 30-40 mins seemed a little steep.

We had a very jolly and informative afternoon at the Aquarium as part of my daughter's 20th birthday celebrations. The shark talk was excellent and the staff friendly and helpful. Not huge but well maintained, clean and well stocked. It kept the 6 of us (age from 7 - much older) entertained.

Yes I expected to see fish at an Aquarian but it was more than that... The ingenious route around the Aquarian was packed with educating and interesting snippets of information. For example flowers and plants were described. The place is spotlessly clean. The fish tanks are clear and clean so you can see clearly the 'exhibits'. My husband and I... More

Very disappointing selection of fish and sharks. The place was small and was not value for money. It cost £38 for 2 adults and a 4 year old. I was expecting it to be more hands on for my grandson rather than simply just looking, other aquariums have been. It was good that you could leave and then return.

Came here on a Sunday afternoon and after reading reviews of people having HOURS of fun in this place I had high expectations. Whilst it started off quite interesting, it started to get a bit repetitive.. I was seeing the same fish over and over just in different tanks.. In one tank there was one baby jelly fish floating around... More

I went an hour before closing so had the place to myself virtually which is the best time for solo people who like to take their time looking at things and not be hurried. Can be a little expensive but I love it here and if it goes back to conservation and education and makes this place better then I... More

Having been to various Aquariums in the South West, I was excited to take my family to Bristol Aquarium for the afternoon, However we had started and finished our visit to this Aquarium within 60 minutes and were Bored beyond belief. I tried to make the most of it and keep the family upbeat but the Majority of the displays... More

We had given up on our plans to walk due to the horrendous weather so went to aquarium. We only had an hour but as it was nearly closing it was quiet. we enjoyed walking around. I think there are areas that could be upgraded and updating. However I'd go again in the rain. You can or at least we... More

Went to the aquarium as my wife really wanted to visit. Firstly, it is quite expensive at nearly £15 per adult. Whilst the exhibits (of you can call live fish exhibits) we're generally good, I was expecting some larger specimens. The largest fish was a non-lethal shark approx. 5ft in length. For the price I was expecting some more spectacular... More

I was thinking about getting a season ticket having had one before. I went there today and was shocked at the ridiculous price of £14.50 per adult. A few of the displays were either boarded up or had a curtain across. There seems to be alot less fish and displays than before. With very small children with me we were... More
